Hi everyone!

Today again an easy shot, a macro shot of my RX jump rope, I was looking for some jump ropes as I want to buy one for my little brother and then I got the idea of taking a macro shot of my jump rope. Rope jumping is one of the exercises we use to do at Crossfit, but not single jumps, we do double or we try triple jumps, I am kind of good with Double Unders, I have a PR of 211 DUs in a row but I need to practice more as my goal is to complete 300 DUs in a row, but well, there are also some other exercises that I really need to improve and I am working on them...

Well, now time to go to bed, have a great Saturday night and a great weekend!

Gemeine Heidelibelle (Sympetrum vulgatum)

I thought I'd give the oil on water picture that seems to be all over Youtube at the moment. Although having no Macro Lens, and a rubbish tripod has proved to be more difficult than I thought. I used a macro tube extension from ebay and too the picture by hand, which has caused focus issue. Also an old mixing bowl was very badly scratched on the bottom, I tried putting a picture underneath but the light wasn't strong enough to shine through. Not bad for a first attempt, but will come back to this again, this time with other colours and tripod.

Thanks for the visit ;-)

Hi everyone!

Today feeling much better, I mean, still sick but not as yesterday night.

So today a macro shot, I got many years ago, someone made me try Physalis for the first time, with the argument that Physalis are good if you have coughs, fevers and sore throats.

Today at the supermarket I found them and bought them again, I ate some of them and then I decided to take a photo of them.

Well now time to go to bed, hope you are having a great weekend!

A shot taken during my month long holiday. I had been trying to experiment with my lighting using a satellite flash and this is the result.

Yet another wet miserable day down here in Dorset, Still ventured out to the Heath first of all and got these, this is a Big Wasp Spider, still managing to look cool with the rain pouring on it

Playing about with extension tubes to take macro photos on my 85mm f1.2 lens! They did a pretty good job for £20!

Hi everyone!

Well as it happened to me in 2011, I was a victim of the Jet Lag today at work, first I arrived at my office late and then I couldn't really concentrate much, so I had to drink 2 cups of coffee, something I don't use to do really often...

Well, now about the photo, why the key? this is the key I give to my Couchsurfers (yes I do participate in the Couchsurfing project) and this key will be used again in the next 2 weeks, I will have surfers from Argentina and Mexico, I am really happy about it! It also means that probably you will see more from the Eggshells project which is somehow a collaboration of my Couchsurfers :)

But well, lets see how my surfers will be!

Good night you all!

I'm having an off day, but I'm also falling behind on posting, so here's what I came up with Friday - a series of selfportraits (my hair does count, doesn't it?)

...and now I'll return to the couch and continue doing nothing :-D

I mounted a magnifying glass on my Canon Rebel! It was super simple, I just taped it to a macro extension tube. Its gives me some pretty crazy, lo-fi results.

I'm going to do it this time, I need to do it this time.

I refuse to be defeated by anything, photography is what I want to do with my life so I need to get that back as my main priority. I won't do what I did last time and make it just me, but I will incorporate myself sometimes.

Thanks for the visit ;-)
