Do you know how small this animal is? This is about 2 mm (0,079 In). I thought it was a spider, but I found out that it is a mite, yes, a "big" mite, compared to the others. They appear in large quantities, like plagues. They feed on plants and are harmless to humans and pets. It is in the hot seasons (spring and summer) that they spread through the walls and terraces of our houses, which are close to gardens or trees.

This is an area of cut crystal with a long row of pyramids. From above they appear as a square and from the side it is a triangle. You get the impression of both here. The crystal is back lit and the directly out of camera special effects are from the trusty Pentacon on macro tubes.
