Thread Nest Repair Be Dazzled Heart
There are stitches of the lighter thread star shape that are still missing, but I don't think that will be at all noticible. But I am happy with the save.
This piece of work was inspired by a drawing I made from plant life.
It is made from hand needle lace sewn onto a commercial printed and machine embroidered fabric, with seperate free form hand needlace to make the frame.
I used a store bought jean jacket, lopped off the arms, faced the arm holes w/bias binding and used one of the arms to make a little purse. The Horse is from Smartneedle.com. The Horseshoes from Bunny Cup Embroidery & Whizardries is where I got the Cowgirl design. I used two Sulky Blendables and decorative stitches from my machine.
Items for our Master Gardener's fundraising table "Gifts from a Gardener" - everything nature or garden themed. The large leaves in the top row were luton earring wires unadorned, middle and bottom row of lace had beads added.

Football helmet applique design on blue nylon with blue stainless steel reusable water bottle. The Giants fabric was fussy cut to fit the logo to the side of the helmet. Adjustable strap is black nylon.
