Somewhere during our snowy drive down the Icefields Parkway, we crossed the park boundary line from Jasper National Park to Banff National Park. The only way we knew it, was with a sign that marked the spot. We were quite focused on the winding, wet road that I am not sure the exact location of this beautiful valley in the Rockies. I do know this was in the Banff Park. We were pressed for time due to weather. However, when the clouds lifted enough for a peek at this lookout point, we stopped for a quick picture. It depicts that moody unpredictable day we had. You can see the road below that we drove on next. The awe of travelling deep between those majestic mountains just cannot be captured with images. Intricately ornate pagodas in a vibrant, lush mountain landscape in Asia, with rolling hills and towering peaks, teeming with an array of colorful flowers, cherry trees abd colourful vegetation.
The scene evokes a holographic, cosmic atmosphere, with iridescent hues and delicate textures.

The Ofoten Line is a 43-kilometre (27 mile) single track railway line that runs from the Port of Narvik to Riksgränsen on the Swedish border and then continues as the Ore Line via Kiruna and Gällivare to Luleå. Construction of the line started in 1898 and was completed in 1902, allowing iron ore to be hauled from the mines in Kiruna to the ice-free Port of Narvik. At the time of construction the Ofoten Railway was both the coldest and most northly railway project in the world. The line has seven stations and only connects to the rest of the Norwegian railway network via Sweden. The main traffic comprises up to 12 daily freight trains operated by Malmtrafik, hauling iron ore from Sweden to Narvik. In addition CargoNet operates container trains, branded as the Arctic Rail Express (ARE), and Vy Tåg operates passenger trains including a night train to Stockholm. During World War II the ore traffic stopped because of the Battles of Narvik and the bombing of the town.
