Bunda Cliffs, formed from fossiliferous limestone, are part of the Great Australian Bight coastline that borders the Southern Ocean and stretches from western South Australia across to the south eastern part of Western Australia.
Views like this can be seen on the Nullarbor Plain section of the Eyre Highway by taking several very short side trips. These cliffs are part of the 'longest uninterrupted line of sea cliffs in the world' (info sourced from Wikipedia). The name Bunda is a local Aboriginal name for these cliffs.
Seen during 2015 travels.
I really appreciate all who visit to view, comment and/or fave my nature offerings from various parts of Australia. Thank you!
