The Budapest tram number 2 has been listed as the 7th best tram line by National Geographic, which makes it the best tram ride in Europe. The views overlooking the Danube river are spectacular.

The Yangon Circle Line offers a three-hour, 50-kilometer ride around Yangon, Myanmar, for under a dollar. Shan Road (shown here) is one of 38 stations on the route. Pa Ywet Seik Kone Station is just two kilometers east of Yangon International Airport.

Lots of negative space in this photo.

Bakerloo line circuit 227 rolls into platform 3 at Queen's Park with the 07.28 from Elephant & Castle to Harrow & Wealdstone.

Queen's Park is where northbound Bakerloo line services rise above ground, having run in tunnels under central London. Initially they arrive into a four platform station area which is covered by a glazed overall roof. There are two island platforms which provide cross platform connections with London Overground services that run between Euston and Watford Junction. Approximately a third of Bakerloo services terminate in platform 3, and when all passengers have alighted, they run forward into two dead end sidings in a four road shed at the north end of the station. Non terminating services continue through the shed, and immediately afterwards join the Network Rail metals used by the Overground services. Bakerloo services continue through Willesden Junction to terminate at either Stonebridge Park (where there is a Bakerloo line depot) or further onwards via Wembley Central to terminate at Harrow & Wealdstone.

Queen's Park station also has uncovered platforms on the Slow lines of the West Coast Main Line. Currently these two platforms are not served by London North Western services. There is also a two road shed for stabling Bakerloo line 1972 stock at the south end of the station.

Steams through East Hills station in the suburbs of Sydney with a heavy train of 390 tons at about 90 kmh. Normally green, streamlined Pacific 3801 was painted lined black for a a short period . After being repainted in green, it then reverted to its original unlined grey. It is now green again, and on Sunday 12 November 2007 it makes its last run for the year, and for most of next year as it will be overhauled after running for 20 years since its last major overhaul. On Sunday it will going out in style as it will run parallel with 4-6-0 # 3526.

“People spend too much time finding other people to blame, too much energy finding excuses for not being what they are capable of being, and not enough energy putting themselves on the line, growing out of the past, and getting on with their lives.”.... J. Michael Straczynski

I know this makes it look like I have 10 billion pillows on my couch (I only have 3), but it was the only way I could stitch all the photos together.

There are so many dolls in my house that the couch wasn't long enough to hold them all. There are 22 dolls in this picture, the sculpts are on the picture under each one.

The Watercress Line is the marketing name of the Mid-Hants Railway, a heritage railway in Hampshire, England, running 10 miles (16 km) from New Alresford to Alton where it connects to the National Rail network. The line gained its popular name in the days when it was used to transport locally grown watercress to markets in London. The railway currently operates regular scheduled services, along with dining trains, real ale trains and numerous special events throughout the year.

Line H7 of the MÁV-HÉV network is a really special one: It's the only line that doesn't leave the area of Budapest, and some sections look more like a light rail system rather than a suburban/commuter railway. It's also the only line where the really old LEW-licensed BHÉV MIX/A EMUs are still in operation. In this picture, we can see a LEW MX/A EMU approaching Müpa - Nemzeti színház station with the beautiful view of Budapest in the background.

The 724 was a new Green Line route in 1966 and for this service newly modified RF's were used. As an exception to my normal rule of only photographing the older vehicles I snapped RF193 at Parkside Roundabout, Romford on 29/5/67. I was impressed by the conversion of these RF's which was I think, a great success. The 724 was the first OMO Green Line route and was taken over by Leyland Nationals (not my favourite ) in 1973. The current Romford end of this route is now numbered 712.

Rhymney Line 2005. I think that the Class 47 had failed and was awaiting rescue or repair as 37411 backs onto its train at Rhymney before heading back down the valley to Cardiff Central.
