Honestly the best looking Lexus I have ever seen! This car in person just looks amazing.

This is a scale 1:20 recreation of the Lexus LC500 flagship coupe.
It is the most complicated car I have ever created and contains 879 part - the most parts of any scale 1:20 car I have ever built.
In the video of the instructions you can see the construction process, as well as how this model compares to the real car.
Nice to see an original (and two tone!) GS still in use.
This car is well within the ULEZ zone so it would be interesting to see what happens with it come October.
I am going to try and post all my interesting photos since August in a weekly fashion from now. I have lost my spotting mojo for the time being, so hopefully that gives me time to get it back.
Pleasing to see an early model, I think this is the mildly updated version so it has some subtle differences to mine.
The most obvious would be the wheels, but it has non-standard ones when seen here. I saw it on the road at the weekend (when I was in mine) and it was back on the original 16" rims.
Looks very clean, so I was slightly surprised to see it has higher mileage at 206k vs. 165,000.
Hopefully I'll catch up with it again soon and have a chat with the owner.
In ownership since 2011 but it hasn't been on the road for a few years now, since it lacks a valid technical test since 2021.

After presenting two previous LF-A super car concepts, Lexus finally got to premiere the production version of its exotic car in October during the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. This incredible piece of engineering boasts a naturally aspirated, high revving 4.8L V10 and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body to make it lighter. The car will only be made in a limited series of 500 units and will be hand-built at the Motomachi plant in Toyota City, Japan. The V10 unit was developed in partnership with Yamaha at Toyota's F1 engine plant. Production will start in December 2010 and it will be limited to 20 units per month, until January 2013. The price tag is expected to be around $375,000.

The Lexus version of the Toyota Grand Highlander. Personally, I think the Toyota is the more attractive of the two.
Photo taken at one of our favorite restaurants. I stopped to take a quick photo of this relatively rare car. As I was composing, I didn’t notice that the owner had entered the picture. After the shot I realized that she was about to enter her car. I simply smiled and gave a ‘thumbs up’ and went about my way.
Prices start at about the $100k for this relatively rare Lexus model.

I promise I won't post photos of it every week, but I thought a quick update would be in order after my first few days with the old thing.
It's great! Drives so smoothly with no untoward rattles or noises, almost all of the toys work, got the original large battery charged and refitted and all I've had to do otherwise is put petrol in it.
It came with half a tank, but it was already going down so I've filled it to the brim to see what kind of economy it's doing (or not!).
I hope the MoT at the end of the year doesn't reveal anything too dramatic, it is undoubtedly something I want to keep on the fleet and I'm already wondering what might have to be sacrificed....
It's been interesting to compare it with the modern Lexus RX I was also using some days of the week, and also my Camry estate of similar vintage. Similar languid, lazy feel to the Camry, and the LS's V8 gives a similarly muted, wafty performance to the RX's V6/hybrid combination. Interesting to have an auto 'box with conventional torque convertor rather than the eCVT set-up in the RX.
What a surprise it was the see this car again!
