Lexus offered the first generation IS Series from model years 1999 to 2005 as a luxury compact with more of an emphasis on sport. This one is the SportCross version which was more wagon-like than the regular sedan version. Both the IS200 and IS300 were equipped with rear wheel drive and inline 6 engines, the latter of which with a version of Toyota’s notable 2JZ-series DOHC engine. The IS 300 had the non-turbo 2JZ-GE version.
A Generation 1 Lexus ‘RX’ model apparently in very good condition was seen on this semi rural road in Washington during a weekend trip.
This Lexus RX sat in the driveway that we passed several times during our trip. I liked the setting and the unharsh lighting falling upon it.
This was about 10 miles south of the US-Canada border.
The license plate has been altered for privacy.
This is the 2nd Generation SC (Z40), offered in model years 2001-2010. This one appears to be the pre-facelifted version 2001-2005.
Where did all of them go? I wonder if they become too passé for those who could afford to buy them.
Frankly I never cared for the styling of these. They seemed bulbous and the greenhouse glass seemed disproportionately small compared to the body.

The Lexus CT 200h is a hybrid electric automobile introduced by Lexus as a premium sport compact hatchback. It is the first production model in Lexus's family to introduce the "Spindle Grille" design as seen in its fascia. It made its debut at the March 2010 Geneva Auto Show, six months after the unveiling of the LF-Ch concept car; it is primarily targeted at the European market but is being sold worldwide and was introduced to North American markets at the April 2010 New York International Auto Show. Lexus has trademarked the names CT 200h, CT 300h, and CT 400h.The design by Takeshi Tanabe was approved in 2008 and patented on 11 September 2009.

What would've once been an extremely luxurious saloon is now an extremely luxurious piece of street furniture. Its been in current ownership since 2008 and has been without NCT since 2005 and tax since 2007.

What could be a real rarity these days is the Isuzu pickup truck behind the Lexus! Fellow Flickr photographer Custom_Cab has identified it as an Isuzu P’UP model.
