Amer river - Biesbosch, Holland.

Near the Hi Level bridge, Toledo Ohio. As opposed to the Cherry Street bridge, which is low level and must be raised to allow ships to pass.

Try out deckplans.com/. It's a pretty kickass site that lets you design a deck and it'll spit out your materials list for you with diagrams of how it should all be laid out.

I wanted the deck to sit low to the ground, so I dug out small 5" deep trenches to put the blocks in, then leveled them to each other, then between rows. This seemed to take the longest time and I spent about 6 hours doing the frame work.

Normally when the children get thier report cards we go to Chuck E Cheese's as a reward for thier hard work. This semester we decided to change things up a bit and headed to Family Bowl Away in Butler for "Cyber Bowling". It was such an enjoyable time. The black lights made need for some creativity when it came to taking pictures. Indoor settings didn't quite work, night settings were even worse. I don't know if I ever found the right setting, but I did give it a ernest effort. This made choosing today's picture tough. I ended up going for this one. It shows everyone (some are teeny tiny in the back and blurry) but everyone is there. As is thier personalities..

Aubriaunna whom I commonly refer to as "Boo" is definately a poser. She wants attenion, and she knows just how to make "cutzie" work to her advantage.

Nathen, my "Buddy" is such a ball of energy. Always on the go, alway keeping me on my toes. Yet he is the most compassionate little guy ever. He was the one carring all the bowling balls (not just ours everyone elses' too) back to thier "homes".

Avery, my sweet "Angel" is finding new ways to discover and express herself with each day that passes. Not nearly as outgoing as the other two, but she has this "something" about her. An ambition to move forward, a willingness to push ahead.

Brian, finally a part of "my family" and I ever so happy about it. Sometimes tings take time to work... I am willing to give time :o)

Debbie, my mother whom I have always called "George". She has taken tremendous responciblity in taking care of Boo. I know that when the need arrives, she is there for the kids.

a level 5 alert fire is the highest level a fire can be gauged. a level 5 requires the assistance of all available firefighters to help control the situation. yesterday i came across this fire incident which was given this status as the conditions, high level winds, water shortage and very dry weather, induced the flames even further. this large fire razed through this community of urban informal settlers in metro manila scorching hundreds of houses that left hundreds of families homeless. firefighters were able to control the fire after 12 hours

(Almost) perfect balance. Cheated a little with the colour as this spirit level is so old the colour has faded! Thought this would be a popular subject choice for Macro Mondayers!

One up and one across.

LM High Density Desiro no. 350263 calls with the 15.33 Crewe - Euston semi fast. Quite pleasant units to travel in, but with 3+2 bench seats, no armrests and no tables, I think LM should endeavour to programme these units on shorter distance journeys and use the 350/1s on the Crewe - Eustons. However, having said that, they are far superior vehicles compared to the abomination that can just be seen arriving on the High Level platform. Upstairs is a Voyager on the 12.05 from Edinburgh. Originally introduced by Virgin, they are now operated by CrossCountry and God only knows why either of these companies thought they were suitable vehicles for passengers to endure long journeys in. It has already been on the road for over four and a half hours, and it still has another six hours to go before it reaches its ultimate destination of Penzance.

At the lower end of Arco dei Banchi, the oldest of Rome's extant highwater markers.

The inscription tells that the turbulent Tiber briefly broke its banks here on 6th November 1277 - an occasion when the water level is reputed to have reached some 16 metres, or 52 feet, above normal.

An effort to kindle a connection today.

Fom lower level. we can look at them from here. But they can't see us almost. So they can concentrate it. Good panel. :)
