La Ceja, Colombia; 2.300 meters above sea level.
The Red-bellied grackle is endemic to Colombia where it is found in all three Andean ranges at altitudes of 800 to 2,400m (2,600 to 7,900ft) above sea level.
Its natural habitat is tropical forest, but the trees are increasingly being felled for timber and to make way for agriculture, and little virgin forest remains within its range.
H. pyrohypogaster was formerly classified as "endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature but in 2012 the threat level was lowered to "vulnerable". This is on the basis that, although its forest habitat remains under pressure, it has been found at some new locations where it was not known before. The total population is now estimated to be in the range 2,500 to 9,999 individuals.
Found this Pine Grosbeak pair in a gravel parking lot up on Grand Mesa. Every time they flew into the tree they were to high for me to photograph so I got down to their level. I think several people thought I was crazy lying down in the middle of a trailhead parking lot :-)

The Sydney Masonic Centre; one of Australia’s great Brutalist masterpieces.
Designed by Joseland Gilling and constructed between 1975-9 (with a tower completed in 2004), the SMC stands audaciously on the corner of Sydney’s Castlereagh and Goulburn Streets with not a care in the world. For many years, the SMC fronted the public with a barren concrete façade, but a glazed-in cafeteria was added later to soften the building at street level.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z06 C8 - 2025 model.
Obviously an 'entry level' vehicle, lol.
The Z06 'flagship' Corvette: a 5.5 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine.
Found today along Central Avenue at Thornleigh in northern Sydney.
Parked outside the entry to the Bunnings Home Hardware Store, and opposite McDonalds (where I had gone to get a coffee from McCafe).

Massive art piece adorns Highway 1 through North Vancouver
Colours inspired by Lynn Valley flora and fauna. [With its 623 panels it is probably the largest single piece of public art on the North Shore. Highway 1 connects Metro Vancouver to the North Shore, the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and Highway 99. ].
Hwy Noise Barrier Art Project
Artist Rebecca Bayer's Merge is a 366-metre-long shock of colour stretching along Highway 1 between Mountain Highway and Fern Street. It is one of the final pieces of the $200-million Lower Lynn Improvement Project, intended to shield the Inter River neighbourhood from highway noise.
Bayer chose the 20 different colours specifically because they are found in the flora, fauna and landmarks from the Lynn Valley area. Bayer consulted with the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre to match colours with individual species like the red-backed salamander, Pacific chorus frog and licorice fern. She then tried out different permutations to come up with the pattern that exists there today. www.google.com/search?q=colourful+fence+along+highway+1+i...
