FYI: When I shoot puddle reflections like this, I am usually holding my cell phone about an inch or less above the puddle. Most people have no idea what I'm doing but for this series of shots, a man came up to me and said, "Good eye! I'm a photographer. I love reflections!"
Went over to Joe's garage a few days ago, and walked away with a bunch of new material. However, there were also some that were a wee bit odd, but maybe interesting...maybe? I've always said that photography is all about "seeing," and I still believe that, but maybe you can take seeing a little over the edge. And these three are, "maybe," good examples of that. Maybe it's just whimsy? The British Underworld shot is the under pinnings of an E Type Jaguar, and across the way, another Jaguar, but this an older XK120. And the "hard underbelly" of the Porsche is something I've never seen before, and it looks like it could float! Lastly, the blue sky and clouds are on the hood of another Jaguar in Joe's shop, a later generation XK150. His shop has some windows going around the top, and that is what the Jag is reflecting. So, you either love reflections on cars, or hate them, and I fall mostly into the latter category. So, love them, or hate them, but enjoy! BTW, I did get some of my more typical shots, and I'll be putting some up over the next few days. As always, thanks for looking, faving, and commenting!
This building is nearly perfect, it shows how beautiful buildings made of sculpties can be.
But how wonderful would it look, when the builder had placed it directy at the waterside, i love reflections! I always wish I could move those buildings for taking pictures. :)

Reflections for you, reflections of love
Reflections of green, shining from above
Reflections, they fill up the beautiful lake
Passionate reflections, of the love we now make
At the side of the water, where wildness is found
Covering the beautiful, natural ground
“The river moves, but it follows a path. When it tires of one journey, it rubs through some rock to forge a new way. Hard work, but that's its nature.” - Kekla Magoon
Came across this beautiful setting on a walk between Dedham in Essex & Flatford in Suffolk.
Love reflections and always hunting for some when I'm out with the camera. Not the sharpest details here, the water was a bit dirty, but definitely saw a landscape in it and had some fun :)
Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Really one of my favorite flower shots ever...View DREAM Large On Black
Though it is surely true that love brings beauty into our lives, it is also true that beauty serves to enhance our love. Each utililizes and maximizes the other.
Is there anyone so insensitive as to be completely oblivious to the beauty around us? Is is so abundant, so striking even in the most mundane thing. We need only look to find it.
Beauty enlivens the commonplace. Through beauty we become more aware, our spirits are raised, our hearts are enriched, our souls are nurtured. Beauty experienced, appreciated and shared is always an expression of love. ~Leo Buscalgia (Born for Love: Reflections on Loving) One of my favorite authors and people. This might offer some insight to the pull of nature and photography for this picture taker.

Scanned from a 35 mm print. This is a civil war rich river which runs right along the town of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Is there anything more peaceful then taking in the quiet beauty of the setting sun? As the sun descends below the horizon, creating romantic shades of red and orange across the sky, the world has a chance to breathe in and rejuvenate.
Caught this beautiful sunset last week looking over the River Blackwater in West Mersea in Essex.
You can never watch too many sunsets, this one is from Lake Garda, a great way to relax end the day with a nice glass of wine and reflect on good times!!
In a reflection you will see
The secret love of you by me
In the life's lake, in every dream
It will now forever stream
Under skies of blue, skies of grey
It will grow and will stay
Before my eyes, inside my heart
Where it will reflect and never part
Light and Love in a world gone mad
We are the Keepers
So burn it.
Burn it Bright.
As always, i pray for peace.
In our lifetimes...
Reflections on life, reflections on love
Reflections of nature, so high above
Reflections of a kiss, so very sweet
When our lips, they do meet
By the lake of beautiful blue
Where we walk, me and you
As the clouds float high above
Reflections of life, reflections of love
Reflections of me , reflections of you
Reflections of nature, under skies of blue
Reflections of beauty, reflections of love
Reflections transport me, to heaven high above
Reflections of you, they fill my heart
Reflections i love you, never ever part

Reflection is the portal to the other world and it is my favorite subject.
I took the suggestion from some Flickr friend and turned it upside down for the composition. It looks more other worldly. :o)

Have a great Tuesday!
Light from the window played out on the wall.
Sunshine through the leaves always forms interesting patterns - usually circles of light and shade.
This heart caught mine.
Watering the pots with the hose tonight and the puddles on the flagstone walk are reflecting the pot, begonia, sky and magnolia all overhead! I LOVE REFLECTIONS!!!!

beneath the cathedral-like ribs of the ciudad de las artes y las ciencias, a small story unfolds. the mother, standing still, frames the scene with her phone. a child runs toward the father, the other already within reach. he bends down, arms opening, ready to gather them close.
it’s a moment of intimacy, framed by cold precision. the architecture is towering, mathematical, almost merciless in its symmetry. yet this fragile family moment – soft, fleeting – defies it all.
the starkness of black and white strips the image of distraction, leaving only the contrast. the human, the monumental. the personal, the grand. it’s a scene where time feels slowed, yet you know it passed in an instant.

Lembert Dome is a granite dome in Yosemite National Park ,California. The elevation of the dome is 9450 feet. It can be hiked starting at the Tioga Road in the heart of Tuolumne Meadows, 8 miles west of the Tioga Pass Entrance to Yosemite National Park. The question is who would like to go take some photos over there. Trust me that Tioga Pass Road is a photo Heaven.
Holy Island, Anglesey, North Wales.
Holy Island Coordinates... 53°17′N 4°37′W
Holy Island is an island (15.22 sq mi (39.4 km2)) on the western side of the larger Isle of Anglesey, Wales, from which it is separated by the Cymyran Strait. It is called "Holy" because of the high concentration of standing stones, burial chambers, and other religious sites on the small island.
There are a variety of natural habitats on the island including mudflats, dunes, marshes, and beaches. Practically nothing is left of the oak forest that covered almost all of the island before the arrival of Neolithic farmers. The western side of the island is taken up mainly by Holyhead Mountain, an area of maritime heather moor, which is the highest peak in the county at 722 feet (220 m). Just off the coast by the mountain are located two islands North Stack and South Stack, upon the latter stands a lighthouse.
Elin's Tower
Elin's Tower is a Victorian stone tower on Holy Island, located around 2+1⁄2 miles (4 km) west of Holyhead. The castellated folly, which was originally used as a summer house, was built between 1820 and 1850 for the notable Stanley family from Penrhos. It is named after Elin (anglicised as "Ellen"), the Welsh wife of the 19th-century politician William Owen Stanley
The building near South Stack was used during both the First and Second World Wars as a coastal observation tower. However, it was abandoned and fell derelict. The restored tower is used as an RSPB information centre, shop and café for the nature reserve in which it is situated, and affords a good view of South Stack and its lighthouse. In 2007, the tower was damaged by vandals who used it for a drunken party.
