Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame

The leaves that turned red were reflected on the surface of the water. I love reflection photography.
I really enjoyed photos by seeing your wonderful photos a lots on Macro Mondays, this year again.
Happy New Year, my Flickr friends!!
This is from our trip to Alaska a few years ago. I was amazed by the wonderfully calm water, and I have always loved reflections.
Same night different foreground, still looking for shapes and reflections! I think the rocks on this bit of the beach have so many curves and so much character that the pool probably isn't needed, but i just love reflections!! Just as you are is a track by Robert Wyatt, a great favourite!!
If you follow me you will know by now that i love reflections and trees (who does not?), not bad for a 2 minute stop along the road ;)

I love reflections and I thought that the chapel looked so pretty reflected in the water with the blue sky!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
I just decided that from now on I also love reflections. Before last Saturday, I was looking for some, but I wouldn't have counted them among my primary photo motifs. I think that's different now.

This is one of the most wonderful Chinese classical music pieces. It describe the beautiful of magnificent mountains and the affectionate moving water,
It is a great piece which can resonate with our inner peace.
A female Northern Shoveler (Anas clypeata) afloat in a pond covered in reflections from the surrounding trees and undergrowth! I love reflections!
Happy Macro Monday
Title from the Christmas song by WHAM "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
But the very next day, you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special"
Size of the items in the shot - the heart is exactly one inch at it's widest part and the glass ornament one and a half inches at its tallest.
Water rises, water falls
Reflections answer its wild calls
Sinking deep inside its arms
Kissing the lakes tender charms
Wild with passion, wild with love
Reflections descend from above
Answering sweet natures calls
Beauty rises, beauty falls
FYI: When I shoot puddle reflections like this, I am usually holding my cell phone about an inch or less above the puddle. Most people have no idea what I'm doing but for this series of shots, a man came up to me and said, "Good eye! I'm a photographer. I love reflections!"
“The river moves, but it follows a path. When it tires of one journey, it rubs through some rock to forge a new way. Hard work, but that's its nature.” - Kekla Magoon
Came across this beautiful setting on a walk between Dedham in Essex & Flatford in Suffolk.
Love reflections and always hunting for some when I'm out with the camera. Not the sharpest details here, the water was a bit dirty, but definitely saw a landscape in it and had some fun :)

My favourite recording of My funny Valentine by Annette Lowman with the Archie Shepp Quartet. What an amazing voice!
