This LED dimmable T8 Tube is using SMD 3528 or 3014 LEDs, and is producing approximately 85 Lumens per Watt. The external driver is available for all dimension and power consumption of T8 tube. The Light colors available include: Warm White 3000 K, White 4000K, or Cold White 6000K. On volume we can produce to specifications. These T8 lights are using a soft PC cover with an aluminum backing for heat dissipation. Frosted, Transparent and Wave covers are available. They are solid state, high shock vibration resistant and worldwide AC compatible. Our T8 lights run on wide current from 85V to 265V with no ballasts. DC is also available. The working temperature is from -20oCto +50oC. The driver is installed into the units. All lights have a full 2 year manufacturer warranty and are certified CE, ROHS compliant.

Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) and incandescents could both be left in the dark by LEDs or Light-Emitting-Diodes. SHENZHEN JINGJING TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD. , as a leading lighting company, are racing to release traditional-bulb-shaped or tube-shaped LEDs which is instant replacement of old bulbs and tubes. They last five to ten times as long as CFLs without upkeep. , contain no mercury and use far less energy ( up to 70% less electricity ), not to mention incandescents. It is quite spooky when your arduino starts acting all paranormal after midnight.
Why would i turn on the red LED when i reach for the knife ?
It was after i was halfway dismanteling a test setup with a photocell when i discoverd this behaviour by accident.
There will be a perfectly scientific explenation to all of this.
But still :)

A string of LED Xmas lights. Whenever I got the camera close to them, moving black bands appeared in the photo. Not sure why.
This is my "Light Emitting Diode Persistence of Vision Helmet". I made it for my Gizmology class this semester.
On the end of the black arm is a vertical row of 8 red LEDs that are attached to a chip which controls the rate at which they flash. You can program short text messages into the chip via 3 buttons on it's side. When the LED POV flasher is on I then flip a switch on the helmut to engage the motor which spins the LEDs around my head. When in the dark the flashing LEDs combined with the rotational movement give the illusion of red letters floating around my head in a halo-like fashion.
I can't capture the red letters with a still or video camera so you will have to see it in person.

Animated design of a 2' x 2' high density LED grow setup. Using Snowryder to compensate for the decreased light penetration of the LED's. Snowryder grows to a height of 12 - 14 inches giving a good yield of 15 - 25 gr per plant. In this 4 square foot area there are 16 plants...do the math! I show the use of 1, 2, and 4 LED panels. Due to the fact that the LED's can be 2 - 6" from the plants and the directional properties of LED's, I prefer the 4 panel configuration as it will tend to give less problems with shadows and compensate better for the short comings of LED's.
