The first missionary incursions Juchitepec as Chalco were by the Franciscans, but the parish seat fixed and corresponded to the Dominican Fathers built their monastery here as usual in the order: 2-story square near the church, about a religious faculty was below the goal, the quadrant, pantry, kitchen, dining room, stairs rising to the high and the sacristy, in the upper antechoir, library, chapter house and the cells of this remains are the ruins that exist today, the Dominicans drew the first streets and taught the Indians to wear white pants and shirt, the church and convent built in the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century.

In a list of the Dominican convents, in the account developed by the monks in the year 1596 does not appear Juchitepec convent, in another list of his chronicle of the year 1606 already appears to its small population and there were 2 or 3 monks and laymen a priest, the parish regentearon half of the eighteenth century, then went to the parish clergy.

At this time he placed the spiritual name of a saint to every village, determining them patrons of the place, the people of reference were as follows: Xuchitepec Santo Domingo, Santa Maria Calayuco, San Francisco Cuautzozongo, Santa Maria Tlacotetelco, San Gregorio Tlacotlapilco, Tlazintla San Miguel, Santa Maria Nativitas Zencalco, San Agustin and San Miguel Ocacalco Tepetlaxco.

The church had beautiful golden wood altarpieces carved Churrigueresque the altar much like it has today, was burned half of the nineteenth century and the sides were removed by some old and others with wood that was in condition behind the altars carved neoclassical available today, the Dominicans technique is also due to wells that after should be the most effective way to provide water.

The floors are finally done! Hooray! It's Lisbon Cork snap-together planks. Oh, did I mention Willie hates the color? He calls it salmon. :(

This photo shows kitchen cabinets refinished. Go to the DFW Painting website for more information on receiving a free estimate.

STU above camera, 2nd flash on floor CR bounced into right wall. 3rd light on counter hidden behind blender, trying to get a bit of light on far wall under counter but all it did was make a gross reflection.

Any comments and/or suggestions are appreciated. New to PFRE and looking to learn and practice. Thanks!

These are the cabinets and the granite color we picked.

Bar Isabel's rear kitchen with exec Grant van Gameren and chef de cuisine: Brandon Olsen.

Besides the spaciousness of the kitchen (700 sq ft!) the first thing I noticed was just beyond the pass... the beautiful copper standing mixer. Oh la la. This was a loner from Olsen. Apparently even the attachments are one step above humble home Kitchenaids like mine. It whips up fluffier, etc as the attachments aren't plastic coated. Nice. Incredible taste chef!

This was my parents and my family home for 45 years. Beautiful house, with a lot of character. It was sadly ripped down to build build two "skinny houses, with lane houses".

Graffiti inside the old kitchen area of Caldwell house. The colours in these things are fantastic... I have added selective colour and the vignette to focus on the area of colour.
