Yes, that's right. Our washer and dryer are in the kitchen! Pretty standard for a UK kitchen. Strangly enough, there is no way to vent the dryer, which has proved to be problematic. For the time being, we just drag it out to the middle of the living room and hang the vent hose out the kitchen window. High tech!

Nikon D 80, ISO 320, f7.1 All ambient with adjustments in LR. Part of me wishes I had moved the chair on the right, but another part thinks that chair help identify that there is a dinner area in that location. All CC welcomed.

Everyone loves this vintage stove (as seen in Sam and Darren's kitchen on "Bewitched"). The burners slide back under the oven when not in use. (The prep surface can also be folded down for easier access to the burners.)

1/6 scale Kitchens in the works. Soooo many parts to cut, figured I might as well make 2 of them at the same time. Basically making a copy of my real kitchen that you see in the background of allot of my photo using a 1/6 scale converter I found on line. Looks good with 12" Builder Bob, should be fine for lanky Fashion Royalty girls too.

We added a matching blind to the back door which streams in light in the afternoons. With all the wood in the remainder of the house, this was my one attempt to marry the two. The bamboo is also practical because it won't show dirt the way a white shade would.
