Nikon D 80, ISO 320, f7.1 All ambient with adjustments in LR. Part of me wishes I had moved the chair on the right, but another part thinks that chair help identify that there is a dinner area in that location. All CC welcomed.

I also have this rather more streamlined kitchen on my studio designed for efficiency on shoots!

Everyone loves this vintage stove (as seen in Sam and Darren's kitchen on "Bewitched"). The burners slide back under the oven when not in use. (The prep surface can also be folded down for easier access to the burners.)

Created for the collectible minifig series 5 contest at Eurobricks. Rules state that entries must be shown without series 5 fig.

We added a matching blind to the back door which streams in light in the afternoons. With all the wood in the remainder of the house, this was my one attempt to marry the two. The bamboo is also practical because it won't show dirt the way a white shade would.

I love Paris and wanted to create a kitchen with a French feeling. My dad made the birdhouse that sits on top of the cupboard and also made the shelf where the window hangs. The handles are vintage hot and cold porcelain knobs that I hung vintage aprons on.

This is our newly re-organized kitchen. If you want to see the inside of the fridge, and you know you do, you'll have to go to my blog, because I just can't bring myself to post it here.

Have been working on getting matching appliances instead of mismatch. Latest addition is the new microwave. When the white toaster oven toasts it's last bread - we may be set. The kitchen computer will remain white as it doesn't show all the fingerprints etc., and I don't think they make stainless steel notebooks under $200 yet.

 

Have to work on some clutter issues yet - but we do live and use this space instead of just looking at it.

The kitchen in the weekend cottage, which Jo (slow roasted lamb and pear & almond tarts), Caroline (chicken with chorizo) and the boys (Sunday's fry-up) put to good use. My role was restricted to cleaning up.
