This shot was a little wider but I cropped it down as it was just blank cabinet space. I still think there is a bit too much bench space in this composition. I didn't deliver this one to the client as I was overly happy with it.

Complete with oak cabinets, lots of extra shelving, an electric stove, refrig, dishwasher and a new garbage disposal. Beautiful Armenian tile above the stove and sink-board add elegance to this space. The door on the left leads to a small pantry area and the carpeted stairs to the master bedroom suite.

I've been working on toning down my exposures. A lot of my shots tend to be on the brighter side, and sometimes parts of the images get washed out. I liked how this image turned out, though not sure if it needs a little bit of contrast in some areas.
I also decided to crop some images like this since some clients want wider shots. I think this crop gives that sense of "wideness" without actually shooting it too wide. It's been positively receptive, so may stick to this cropping for certain comps.

Small but functional. I love not having the sink RIGHT next to the stove. That was a really awkward space in our old house. It has a deceptively large amount of cupboard space to boot. We still have a couple of completely empty cupboards.

Wallington is a country estate located about twelve miles west of Morpeth, in Northumberland, near the village of Cambo. The National Trust has owned the estate since 1942, after it was donated, complete with its gardens and farms, by Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan, the first donation of its kind. The house is a Grade I listed building, with a beautifully furnished interior.
I took this photograph on a dull, damp autumn day that restricted me to interior shots. The kitchen's great roof girder was installed in 1928 to tie in the east wall, which was in danger of collapse.
The kitchen occupies the north-east corner of the ground floor, and although many of Wallington's rooms have changed in function over the years, the room located at the opposite, south-east corner has always been the dining room... even though it isn't particularly close to the kitchen!
