"Hey, That Kitchen Is a Bit Small"
My building is "L" shaped and my theory is that the architect started designing the apartments at the other end of the floor and when he got to this end, it was "oops, I ran out of room....oh well". It actually works really well, except this is a two bedroom apartment, and the second largest floor plan so having a kitchen the same size as a one bedroom or studio is not optimal for rental pricing. As a result, I pay the exact same rent as the two bedroom next door, which has 160 less square feet, but a kitchen twice as big as mine. Yay me!!
In case you couldn't tell, this building was renovated into apartments in the late 1980's. Was it a requirement that all apartments done during this time period have these white cabinets with the oak trim???? Of the last 4 places I have lived, three had these exact same cabinets. I always feel at home no matter where I live, because the kitchen always looks the same!

The Kitchen cabinets were created with the Bedford door style in Oak finished in Chestnut and in Maple finished in Buttercream with Bronze glaze.
Five SB-80s: Two bounced off ceiling in family room behind camera, CL and CR. One on ledge, above and to the left of microwave(s), bounced out of wall/ceiling joint. One on stand on counter to the right of sink, bounced off ceiling. One around to the left of fridge, bounced off wall. Sun setting through sliding doors behind camera.

This is the current state of things. Friday the countertops will be installed and the one remaining box of floor tile laid down. Next week Monday the appliances that are here will be installed and the electrician will install the ceiling fixtures. The dishwasher should arrive next week Thursday, and then be installed next week Friday.
Pleased this project is nearing its end!
