Took a panorama capture before it all got busy with the Porsche crowds. It was pretty busy as the garages behind are nearly filled up but probably bacon roll time at one of several places to eat at.
But there were plenty of beautifully turned out Porsches to admire. Way above my pay scale of course !!

New York’s Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is a magnificent symbol of faith in the heart of the city. Seat of New York’s Catholic archdiocese, it is the largest Gothic cathedral in the nation, covering an entire city block. Every year, over five and a half million people are drawn to St. Patrick’s for worship, spiritual consolation, or to simply marvel at its remarkable beauty (walksofnewyork.com)

Great event, well done to all concerned.
I don’t have any travels or tours this month but come the month of June, I’ll be traveling and touring until the middle of august. I can’t wait to play music in different cities and countries, plus I’ll have the chance to take a variety of photos in every place I visit! ❤️
Indonesia is an archipelago consisting of approximately 17,508 islands, according to the Indonesian government’s official count. However, estimates vary slightly depending on the source, with some citing around 17,000 to 18,000 islands. Of these, about 6,000 are inhabited, with the largest and most well-known being Java, Sumatra, Borneo (shared with Malaysia and Brunei), New Guinea (shared with Papua New Guinea), and Sulawesi.
Jakarta, Indonesia, is the capital and largest city of Indonesia, located on the northwest coast of Java. It’s a bustling metropolis with a population of over 10 million, known for its vibrant mix of cultures—Javanese, Malay, Chinese, Arab, and Indian influences. The city is the economic, political, and cultural hub of the country, hosting key landmarks like the National Monument (Monas), Istiqlal Mosque, and Jakarta Cathedral.
It faces challenges like traffic congestion, flooding, and rapid urbanization but is also a dynamic center for business, tech, and tourism. Recent developments include ongoing infrastructure projects like the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail and efforts to relocate the capital to Nusantara in East Kalimantan to ease Jakarta’s overcrowding.

Because I’m a touring musician, I spend a lot of time in airportS. As I work on my photography skills I’m getting more interested in street photography. An airport always have a plethora of interesting people to photograph. This woman had a very cool vibe about her as she waited at the gate for her flight.
THE SAN REMO
145 & 146 CENTRAL PARK WEST
The San Remo is the first twin-towered building to rise in New York and its precedent-setting design gained it fame when it was built in 1930. Designed by the acclaimed architect Emery Roth, it was named for a hotel that previously occupied the same spot and converted into a cooperative in 1972.(streetesy.com)
The hotel where we stayed a couple of weeks ago. Irton Hall Hotel.
Tess, the hotel’s border collie lured me away from the hotel with her ball; threatening to play ball. Once she had got me and Patches all the way down there she trotted back to the hotel… tennis ball in mouth.
So she led me to take this shot!

How good have the Planet of the Apes films and series been?
It’s just got better and better with brilliant effects.
Now you can buy your own ape on horseback, for your garden, from Gordon Riggs garden centre.
I don’t think many will sell though.

IRIS BY NIGHT
Robert Frost
One misty evening, one another's guide,
We two were groping down a Malvern side
The last wet fields and dripping hedges home.
There came a moment of confusing lights,
Such as according to belief in Rome
Were seen of old at Memphis on the heights
Before the fragments of a former sun
Could concentrate anew and rise as one.
Light was a paste of pigment in our eyes.
And then there was a moon and then a scene
So watery as to seem submarine;
In which we two stood saturated, drowned.
The clover-mingled rowan on the ground
Had taken all the water it could as dew,
And still the air was saturated too,
Its airy pressure turned to water weight.
Then a small rainbow like a trellis gate,
A very small moon-made prismatic bow,
Stood closely over us through which to go.
And then we were vouchsafed a miracle
That never yet to other two befell
And I alone of us have lived to tell.
A wonder! Bow and rainbow as it bent,
Instead of moving with us as we went
(To keep the pots of gold from being found),
It lifted from its dewy pediment
Its two mote-swimming many-colored ends
And gathered them together in a ring.
And we stood in it softly circled round
From all division time or foe can bring
In a relation of elected friends.

I was outside the pub helping my father in law load his Citroen Berlingo with old sofas that we’d sawn apart and unbolted when I saw this… how could I not take the pic?
We took 3 sofas in two trips to the waste disposal site at Burnley.

A hike up into the ruins that lead towards Crackpot Hall above Keld. A sweeping snow panorama of the impressive valleys that you could imagine being ground out by glaciers many years ago.
The sheep were lower down where the grass was easier to eat after the recent snow falls in the Yorkshire Dales. Muker is off to the left down the valley, Keld is round the track and off to the right hand side.

One minute hundreds of passengers are either getting off or getting on trains but I was lucky to capture this scene with few people around.
I admit that the beautiful ICE train on the right is actually a further line away. But the old style architecture of Frankfurt station is stunning.
The station dates back to 1888, but with side halls added in 1924. There are 25 platforms 1-24 plus platform 1A. Also four S Bahn underground platforms.
The train station is a dead end and free access to get off and on any trains as no barriers or ticket barriers. This does help enormously when having to change trains as this is a major hub with trains from Switzerland, Austrian and all over Europe as to be expected.
There is a pedestrian underground link half way down the platforms apparently as some trains are very long.

At Bleakholt animal sanctuary
We had a look around the animal sanctuary with our niece, Emily.
The sanctuary tries to find forever homes for Dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats, chickens etc.
You can buy animal foods at local supermarkets and leave it in big bins to help the animal sanctuary.

The view from our deck
We had a busy day yesterday. Our Hyundai needed a service and it’s MOT (road worthy-ness test).
The Hyundai dealership where we bought it, and always take it is about 18 miles away from home.
I took my father in law’s Citroen and we Tracey and me set off to the garage at 7.45.
After dropping the car off we then went to the garden centre at Todmorden… probably about 20 -25 miles.
We picked (Tracey picked 😃) some plants and flowers for the rockery. We already had lots of soil and compost. We then got home and worked on the rockery.., in the soaring heat.
My brother in law needed to go to Colne anyway so I got a lift with him to pick our car back up from the dealership.
So here is the result of our labours…
