Hunting Vixen!...I was watching this fox for a while.I imagine it must be quite hard to find food if you are mainly a rural fox. This vixen was shy and wary and it seems like it has a lot of mange on its rear.
I remember hunting for conkers as a young girl with my brother, we would then go home and play conkers.
We decided to take the girls out and go on a hunt, we searched two local parks, but there were non to be found. My husband then said about the boys school just up the road from us, we headed up there and found two chesnut trees. We didn't find to many conkers but the girls loved it. What was lovely was when Bethany opened two of the shells to find black conkers, they weren't bad or mouldy it was just the colour of them. I have never seen black ones, but my husband remembers getting black conkers from the same tree when he was a boy.
'Acorn / Nut' for HPAD Scavenger hunt
I really tried to get some acorns for a similar shot but there just weren't enough around, so I had to settle for conkers.
