The Hunting Island Light seen from the beach through the island’s semi-tropical maritime forest. The Hunting Island Light is located in Hunting Island State Park on Hunting Island near Beaufort, South Carolina. Although it’s no longer used as a functioning lighthouse, the tower is a fixture at the state park and is open to visitors. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

Please help the sandhills. If the hunt is approved and this adult gets killed, what will happen to this youngster? His parents are teaching him to migrate this year. Let your legislators know you oppose the hunt. Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Kentucky are all proposing one. We must stop any and all hunting of cranes in the Eastern Flyway!
