Recipe for an amazing hot chocolate filled with rich flavour from ferrero rocher and nutella. Perfect to indulge in the holidays.
Me and my friend were out in the snow all day and when we came inside, my mom had hot chocolate for us. :D yum!
"One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating."

An early morning walk to Bread & Ocean Bakery for hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls. Just the way to warm up on a chilly morning.
Hot Chocolate, and don't let the normal look of the bread roll fool you. It is one of most soft bread roll I ever ate. Usually, rolls are not so soft, at least the ones I have. The bread at Subway is nothing compared to this bread.
A life-long lover of hot chocolate in cold weather, after visiting Mexico and living a long time in Asia, I have been refining it in recent years. This might be my final version. It's a marriage of hot chocolate and Asian chai. If you love cocoa, be brave and try making your version of this. My friends request it. We've even added a dollop of brandy on a snowy cold evening to warm up our toes.
- Melt any kind of chocolate in a pan with a little water. After its all melted add salt, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom & cayenne. Add milk, stirring well. Dont let it boil. Adjust all ingredients to taste. Heat carefully until bubbles just start forming at edge. If I use unsweetened chocolate I add brown sugar. Molasses changes it significantly, but I like it too. I've never tried that with friends, though.

We had a late late dinner today. 11pm. So instead of to think of where to go, we settled for fast food. So, McCafe shot again. I still have a long night to go.

I applied a Coffee Shop Action called, "Hot Chocolate" to this shot. I wasn't quite satisfied with the results so I added a sepia tone and pulled back the opacity a bit to add back a touch of color.
I did a few adjustments in Lightroom before sending it to my Photoshop Elements 6.0. Then I applied the above in PSE6.
Vienese hot chocolate, incredibly rich, chocolatey and topped with chantilly cream. So thick you could eat it with a spoon. Healthy it was NOT but sooooo delicious.
mmmm, a lovely strong creamy hot chocolate made (mostly) to a Nigella Lawson recipie. This mug has a very cute picture of a fairy on it & I call it the love fairy because there are love hearts everywhere :-)
An early night for me tonight ...
I have had 3 good nights of sleep due to the new medication I got from the doctor. It works a treat, although I feel a little drowsy the next day, a small sacrifice for getting back a regular sleep pattern.
Joined a great new group called Get Pushed!! where you are paired with someone who gives you a photographic challenge ouside your comfort zone. This is the one the delightful and talented yrrgeirs sent me: "SPLASH! I´m challenging you to do a "SPLASH" shot. Coffee splash, milk splash, water..........or whatever comes to mind! Try it, might be fun! :-D"
It was messy fun, but I'm afraid I only had five minutes to spare from my exam marking, so the two shots are rushed and sooc. Coward that I am, I tried it first with water, and only then with hot chocolate. I think the water one is slightly better, though neither of them is brilliant. I shall try this again when I have time. BTW, I dropped a golf-ball sized tomato into the cups to get the splashes! Now you should all go join Jordy's group and Get Pushed!!
