I stopped at the Sunflower Bakery Café today as they are famous for their muffins. Unfortunately, as happens every day, they were sold out of muffins.

While i contemplated my next move I spied the most unusual sight in a mug. I was told it was hot chocolate topped with COTTON CANDY!

I made the great sacrifice of ordering one so I could take a photo for all of you. In the end, I threw the pink and blue spun sugar away before it could send me into diabetic distress. The hot chocolate, 'though, was delicious.

Shooting the LTM Canon f2.8 28mm on the M8 so a crop then a bit more to square it up in post but still, because of the light, I had to shoot wide open and got what a Leica lens fans call "glow".

Look at the Tulips they show it nicely. I did shoot another frame slower speed and stopped down but it wasn't as sharp, in the centre, and this was more interesting. The colour is lovely from this combination with no adjustments, UV/IR filter on.

I remember a homemade hot chocolate loving made for me one morning. I think there was about a full bar of valhrona chocolate melted for 2 cups. Sweet gesture, but man, it was a little rich for 9am.

Parisian hot chocolate, with marshmallows from Miette. Steve made me some in my favorite mug last night since I hadn't taken any pictures yet that day. The recipe is David Lebovitz's, which is thick and mostly chocolate. That's half a chocolate bar right there.
