Hot chocolate recipe

Made the smartest choice by finishing up some sketches in double speed and not staying over in that hot air-con deprived sauna we call the "open" studio. Went home to realize that the cold wet weather was so shiok and then find a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate lying in the fridge, shouting: "Melt Me! Melt Me". 5 mins later along with some soon to be expired fresh milk and cocoa powder you get the best company food can offer on a cold night.

ah.....bliss...an Almost Perfect Supper .

This isn't my photo; my son took it. But I like it a lot. The on-camera flash has blown out the foreground highlights and left the background in impenetrable deep shadow - and yet I think it looks great!

These are from my finalized recipe for hot chocolate cupcakes. I used a toasted meringue topping instead of marshmallows. =)

The cup was hand crafted by me.

Day 305/365. Celebrating the Battle of Puebla (Cinco de Mayo), A Cookie and a Cupcake baked special cupcakes: margarita and Mexican hot chocolate. I liked the margarita a lot more than the chocolate. Chocolate was too sweet and intensely chocolatey for me. Cleveland, OH.

I was talking about hot chocolate to Jane and she mentioned Twinings which you make with milk - I have been having Ovaltine with water - so my Tesco came today with Twinings, real full milk and then I got squirty cream and mini marshmallows .... real luxury and so yummy :)
