Hill Cemetery, 9th Street, Laurel Delaware. Elmer Cooper Leggs died in 1969. He was the husband of Agnes Blanche Hastings Leggs who died in 1963 and who has a commercial made grave marker next to him. Essie B. Leggs died in 1932. It is assumed she is the daughter of Elmer and Agnes, but there is no information about her. Elmer and Agnes had in addition four sons; Roscoe, Elmer, Ronald and Charles. They also had another daughter; Edith.
Both markers appear to have been made about the same time. Essie's marker has small coins pressed into the cement. I first came across these markers about twenty years ago.
also on 10/10/10, charlotte and matt made homemade gyoza (for japanese grand prix day) and they were awesome.

I love making pasta. Not only is it very easy to make, but it tastes so much better than store bought.
Yesterday my sweet and talented friend, Cathy MCC asked to see my pasta scooper working.
Well friend, in the comments is us pulling the fresh pasta out.
A traditional Italian pork cold cut (salume) made from the dry-cured muscle running from the neck to the 4th or 5th rib of the pork shoulder or neck.
I used the recipe from ReadyMade and it worked wonderfully. I used olive oil, a little shea butter, and plain water. We use unscented hand cream, since we handle other people's wool, or I would have used coconut oil or cocoa butter and added essential oils. Maybe I'll make another batch for days off. :)
This was easy peasy, just like making mayonnaise. The recipe yielded about 2 cups, which filled 4 of the teensy canning jars. It has a really nice consistency and works very well.
Today my husband made his first knitting accessory for Raquelle. I am very proud and Raquelle loved her new fashion item. Tomorrow I start my first attempt at crocheting. Wish me luck.
