At an abandoned Farm, I found this large homemade refrigerator, that was not the most strange, no it was very strange that it was placed in the stable ! Maybe it was to avoid taxes on electricity.
Today is my birthday, and Tom and I made our first homemade pizza with this new non-dairy cheese. It definitely shredded like cheese but certainly didn't melt like it! It was still really good though. Tom also baked me peach muffins with real peach chunks inside. The man knows, oh the man knows.
I decided to try to make my own buns. It was the first time I tried it and it worked out quite good :)
I had a little cold this week, but it wasn't too bad. So I went to work. Also I'm still waiting for my examination results. The uncertainty is killing me...
Anyway, I wish you all a nice weekend!

These Christmas baubles were all hand beaded with sequins and pins by me. I have a Christmas tradition. I bead Christmas baubles for a select group of friends every year.
Each bauble is 15 centimetres in diameter and contain hundreds of sequins, varying in number depending upon the complexity of the pattern and the type of sequins I use. Depending upon the colour of the sequin, I will use either a gold or a silver pin to attach it to the bauble.
These baubles are smaller than some others I do, however because they can have complex patterns which starts from the inside and are worked outwards in ever larger circles, each bauble takes approximately 1 to 2 1/2 hours per side.
It is however, a labour of love which I do to pass the time throughout the year.
This year the FFF+ Group have decided to have a weekly challenge called “Snap Happy”. A different theme chosen by a member of the group each week, and the image is to be posted on the Monday of the week.
This week the theme, “homemade” was chosen by Laszlo, Laszlo Papinot.
I thought my homemade, handmade Christmas baubles suited the theme very well.
When the weather is cloudy or rainy and you need to bring colours into your life, you always have the possibility to paint your own homemade rainbow!!!
Cuando el tiempo está nublado, que no para de llover y que necesitas más color en tu vida, siempre estás a tiempo de pintar tu propio arcoiris!!

Paul V. loves working with his hands. He makes a variety of instruments including guitars, fiddles, banjos and more. He's always working on "projects". I asked if he could play something and he replied, "Well, okay but I'm not as good as I used to be."
This is from a series of portraits I took of him. Comments welcome.

My Dad is a widower now and has come to live with my wife and me. I wanted to take a picture of him holding a picture of my mom. But I did not have a great place to photograph so we set up a homemade studio. As silly as it was, it helped.
With homemade tartar sauce and steamed asparagus. I always wanted to make these but crab is expensive. Well worth it, not too hard, and no more than some good steak would be. Awesome!
A friend of mine makes dill pickles every year. She has me taste test them.

Michelle is very emotional reading a heart breaking book so Loretta was feeling pity and offered to bring her some chicken soup for the soul...and she assured Michelle it's homemade soup.
Oh, the weather outside is frightful (as the song goes: www.metrolyrics.com/let-it-snow-lyrics-christmas-carols.html), so I thought it time to bake again. Boy, was it good!
