It's birtbday time for the ole fat man! What better way to fatten him up than a homemade cheesecake made by my sweet wife, Angie!!! Happy Pearl Harbor Day BTW I am now officially a Septuagenarian!!! LOL
Another visit to Gleneden beach in Oregon. This is from a curved plane pinhole camera I made a while back. I stood in for part of the shot. I wish a better resolution version would be visible here, the image on my computer didnt show the pixellated gradations of colors in the sky like this one.

I asked Stu on a rating from 1 to 10 what he would give this pizza, he said an 11! I made it in my Toaster Oven on the Pizza setting. It worked great! The crust is made from Almond Flour, so it was a bit different than some others, and I added fresh Basil and Oregano from my Herb Garden. Baking it in the toaster oven keeps the kitchen nice and cool!
This is the Last Supper (L'ultima cena) of Da VInci, one of the greatest masterpiece of all time art (and one of the greatest failure of Da Vinci's experimentation on new wall painting technique)... well, more or less. Just the hands...
Recipe:
- One White Sheet
- A small table
- A Lamp
- Two hands
- Lack of respect of masterpiece
- A bit of blasphemy
- 13-14 shots
- Enough time to do the shots
- Enough time to blend them all
By the way... I wish an happy Easter to everybody.
(PS: Some zones are dirty and reveals levels' shape... my monitor is not well balanced... I have to retouch it on a better one :()
Chris and I made caramels over the weekend using Grammy's recipe....and yesterday I wrapped them in wax paper like she used to. They don't taste quite as good as when she made them, but I think it's more that things taste better when someone else makes them. Hope you have a great day!
Rice and corn cakes, chopped dried fruit, crushed almonds, peanut butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla paste, cinnamon.
I made the sourdough bread the other day. Today I made strawberry-blueberry quick jam. What a great combination.
