It's hard to beat homemade blueberry muffins fresh from the oven melting butter and very delicious.

My first attempt and It is better than store bought. This may ruin me from eating store bought pizza again. I didn't pre-bake the crust per dough directions and it was perfect.
With wife and son in tow we headed off to Earl Sterndale for a circuit of the Upper Dove. First stop was in Hollinsclough at the Chapel Tea room www.facebook.com/chapeltearoomshollinsclough/?locale=en_GB who have a wonderful range of homemade cakes, then over Hollins and Chrome Hill.
By the time we'd got to the top of Hollins Hill the weather started to look a bit threatening, and we sheltered by the summit tumulus as showers seemed to pass to both sides of us, but we kept dry and watched the lower part of the Peak District getting a downpour
The trouble with homemade dresses is that sometimes I don’t get round to put the finishing touches on them until months and months later.
Today I really will sew the beads on this dress that I made last year! *yikes*

Cooking for the whole family again. So I threw a chicken into the crock pot and whipped up some comfort food.

It's birtbday time for the ole fat man! What better way to fatten him up than a homemade cheesecake made by my sweet wife, Angie!!! Happy Pearl Harbor Day BTW I am now officially a Septuagenarian!!! LOL
Since the pandemic we haven't been in any stores. All our cards since then have been handmade with love.
I asked Stu on a rating from 1 to 10 what he would give this pizza, he said an 11! I made it in my Toaster Oven on the Pizza setting. It worked great! The crust is made from Almond Flour, so it was a bit different than some others, and I added fresh Basil and Oregano from my Herb Garden. Baking it in the toaster oven keeps the kitchen nice and cool!
