It's a little messy, but I think homemade marshmallows taste worlds better than ones from the store.
I used Alton Brown's recipe: www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/homemade-marshmal...
Nestled along the canal is the Homemade Burger Co, we didn't find this place until after dinner, but it looked nice.

Another batch of homemade donuts. This time I didn't fry them but used a yeast batter to bake just how you would to a normal bread. Turned out salty however. Will make another trial in the future.
Ha! As you can see I made a quill today out of a pen, a feather my friend and I bought, and some athletic tape. Creative right? Here's another part of my Harry Potter I Must Not Tell Lies series. Hope you enjoy!
I've been playing around to make stuff to pamper my body and I thought to make lavender sugar hand scrub for my friends (3 birthdays in one week), economic and fun to make :)
Michele made the semolina dough, I mixed up the filling, and she assembled the ravioli. The sauce was homemade tomato, pancetta, and chile pepper. It was delicious.

A crude long focus lens made from a magnifying glass and some drainpipe.
The single biconvex element has a focal length of approximately 400mm, the diameter is 100mm, giving an aperture of f4.
It was attached to a Nikon D70 using an extension tube and the plastic cup from an old thermos flask, over which a standard black plastic soil pipe was placed and wedged into position. The lens was pushed into another plumbing item, which just fits inside the main tube and can be pushed in and out to focus.
As expected the resulting images are subject to various aberrations, and have a dreamy quality to them.
This is a homemade beer can stove (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beverage-can_stove) with a combination windscreen, stove support, and pot stand. I can honestly say that all of the camping equipment designers present were thrilled by the stove's graceful design and by its functionality.
