Homemade Banana Pudding

3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 egg yolks

2 cups milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 box Nilla wafers

5 bananas, sliced

MIX 3/4 cup sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan over low/medium heat. Blend in 3 egg yolks and milk. Cook, uncovered until thickened, stirring constantly with a wisk. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

In a bowl or pan, place one layer of nilla wafers, then cover nilla wafers with sliced bananas. Cover bananas with nilla wafers. Pour some of the custard mixture over the layers. Then do another banana layer, following with a nilla wafer layer. Repeat. Pour more custard over the layers. Be sure that when you're done, Nilla wafers should be the last layer. Use all of your custard for this recipe.

Refrigerate at least one hour before eating. I prefer mine overnight.

Can be served warm, but I like mine served cold. When serving you can top the banana pudding with Redi Whip or Cool Whip.

Homemade Pasta.

Using the "Imperia Pasta Maker".

Both removable. Red one is about 1kV 300mA and the white one has many taps for my 330v capacitor bank.

Outside view of my homemade pinhole. I had to use excessive ducttape and tin foil to close up lightleaks. Made the hole using a safety pin through tinfoil.

2 October 2011: Sunday morning was the second morning I was able to sit and wake up to cooler breezes, yummy coffee, and even yummier homemade zucchini bread. Here's a little slice of (my) home for you.

Hope all of you had glorious weekends, friends. Thanks for letting me be away ...

p.s. Zucchini bread recipe available if desired. ;)

My wife prepared a Thanksgiving feast today. We had turkey, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, homemade rolls, crunch top potatoes and homemade rolls.

This is the antenna I made using coat hangers and some wood screws. I get 50% more channels with this compared to my powered rabbit ears, and they are all in HD!
