I ate this for lunch all this week. Somen, somen tsuyu, pickled ginger, cucumber, ground beef with mushrooms in soy sauce and nori.
Some days you have the batter, griddle and propane all working in perfect synchronicity.
Today was one of those days!
Derrick was thrilled to upgrade to more kitchen space when we moved into our apartment. He immediately made preparations to roast chicken.
i've been slacking on uploading photos to flickr so i'm picking up where i left off from january 8th when i visited my mom at her friend's house. instead of going out for dinner, we stayed in and i watched the two whip up a home-cooked meal.
the seafood soup base was used for dduk mandu gook since i was on a semi-vegetarian diet at the time. this was so much better than what i had been using. my mom's friend hooked me up and gave me half a bag so i could avoid the mishap i had with the seafood noodle soup i made. *shudders*
