My first tagine attempt - chicken tagine with lemon, fennel, carrots, red pepper, kalamata olives. Great flavors!

- Japanese spanish mackerel with onion and wakame seaweed

- pickled cauliflower

- boiled spinach

- shiitake mushroom and long onion miso soup

- rice

We were surprised to hear from Nora's mom when she revealed that these delicious fried chicken had nothing but garlic salt and some flour lol! They were so bloody good! Even the kids couldn't stop eating them :)

Not an ideal choice for braising as ER and YH put it. This cut was less tasty than spareribs. And there were a lot more loose fragments of bones than expected after cooking.

I swear there was a velociraptor loose. I had nothing to do with this.

With vermouth added. This kept the texture smooth and soft. It tasted pretty good :-)
