I tider av Coronapandemin så blir det till att vara hemma. Vad passar inte bättre då än att laga lite god mat och fylla frysen med godsaker.
I made udon for the 1st time. I didn't have that much ingredients on hand, so the egg variation was the easiest to make. But I had a really hard time eating it because the egg wasn't cooked enough for my tastes. I thought the soup was hot enough to cook the egg when I mixed it. The thought of eating a mostly raw egg didn't sit well with my stomach.
• Momofuku brand packaged noodles (also known, to me, as “fancy ramen”)
• wild-caught Gulf shrimp, boiled
• leftover crawfish boil corn from the cob
• homemade chili-garlic sauce made by Blythe, girlfriend of my good friend, Dave
Inspired by a local chain restaurant recent offering :)
lettuce + tomato + 1/2 lb 100% PEI grass fed beef burger + grilled pineapple ring + onion slices + Teriyaki SPAM :)
I am so proud of this copycat version!
The potato fries were Calbee's Jagabee :)
I will be away for few days....see you guys next week again!
A family friend made us a pan of lasagna for last New Year, Jan. 1, 2024. It was damn good and the leftovers went quickly. Hope everyone who celebrates does so with a great meal.
