a HK$40 bag from the street vendor - 2 pounds of chestnuts smothered and roasted amidst hot sugar coated coals

plus many many more. It was a lovely hotel room for the event. Job well done R!

A delightful mixture of salad greens without tomatoes (hubby forgot to pick them up : O )

- salmon saute

- sweetened red kidney beans

- boiled broccoli

- sauteed lotus root

- pumpkin soymilk miso soup

he made us dinner for hosting! breaded pork cutlet, garlic mashed potatoes, edamame/tofu noodle salad, bruschetta. so good!!

Christmas Eve Eve dinner at C&C's

R made the BEST brunch ! Endless drinking and eating from 2pm to 6pm.

It was as good as any I have tasted anywhere! Had it with a lamb curry.

Garlic Cream sauce tossed with spaghettini, smoked salmon and rocket.

I love this recipe from The Farm Vegetarian Cookbook; esp. because it doesn't require any exotic ingredients. I could make these at any house in the country w/o a trip to the store!

Open face sandwich with cherry tomatoes and a medley of mushrooms. I love toaster ovens.

- Japanese amberjack saute lemon butter sauce

- onion pumpkin soymilk soup

- green salad

老豆腐切片,不要太薄,用平底鍋把兩面都煎黃,備用。

燒油,下大蒜爆香,加高湯,鹽少許,醬油,五香粉,米酒,冰糖,燒開。把豆腐下鍋,加蓋中火15分,起鍋後放上蔥花,ok。
