- carrot salad sesame mayonnaise
- mashed sweet potato
- natto and daikon radish miso soup
Whole wheat oat pumpkin muffins! Made with homemade oat flour (just blended some rolled oats until it's all powdery). Used agave nectar for sweetness, and soy milk instead of dairy. Not completely vegan because I used an egg, but that could be substituted I suppose.

we fired up the bread oven this afternoon for some home made pizzas. A great way to spend an afternoon between Christmas and New year with friends! 8-)

Noodles, field mushrooms, grilled asparagus, bok choi, garlic, spring onions, garlic and ginger + carrots stir fried in sesame oil with mirin, soy and sesame seeds + jasmine tea.

My cousin typically hosts a family meal around Christmas. This year, we had it just before Christmas as one of my aunts was leaving for Canada the following week. It was truly an excellent meal...
Great for rainy days! This soup is a dry bean mix. Add 4 cups vegetable broth, diced bell pepper, onion, carrot and celery, olive oil, basil, a bay leaf and garlic, a can of unsalted diced tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste. The recipe is actually on the back of the dry bean bag. It simmers for an hour and is delicious!!
