The men folk smoked meats and tomatoes out in the yard while the women folk attended Cinderella! This was what was waiting for us on our return :>))!!

- tofu and vegetables simmered in milk crab soup

- welsh onion saute

We ended up at 男鑫's place, where his mom had prepared us dinner. ;_; SOO GOOOOD.

Too much cake and too much alcohol = too much schmish.... For the past couple of weeks, I've been challenging myself by eating out less and eating a lot healthier, but still having tasty and appetizing meals that don't scream "DIET!"

Junk food Sunday - airfried Japanese crispy chicken.

 

Verdict: Super! No extra oil added, crispy on the outside, juicy in the inside. I think I made mum a very woman today.

Making the best of half-price fruit

Open-face chicken breast sandwich with sun-dried tomato hummus and roasted red pepper; kale salad with rice vinegar dressing.

A soup of sorts - I added spicy sausage to chicken broth with okra, corn, celery, green onions, broccoli, peas, green beans, carrots, lima beans, salt, pepper and a few other choice spices. -- I'll let it cook down a bit.
