The big trains that the Southern Pacific operated over Tehachapi Pass meant big time helper service. The oil trains, the occasional coal trains and the lumber product trains from the northwest would all see multiple unit mid train helpers. These eastbound helpers are at the east switch of Walong Siding on October 5, 1985.
Vintage Focus Helper 24x36mm
Normally this Focus Helper would be used as shown on this picture with an Agfa Silette.
Now this particular Focus Helper, although it says for 24x36mm frames, was probably not ment for a small camera like this, it's groundplate is way to big and doesn't ly flat against the filmgate.
Wouldn't be surprised if this Focus Helper was used for the servicing of larger double format cameras like i.e. the Rolleiflex with a 35mm film insert.

Rachel and Svetlana have posted beautiful Irish Chain quilt finishes lately, so I feel less obligated to stage a nice photo shoot for mine;) (And to be honest, I bet I started mine first, too -- I began cutting fabrics January 1.) I basically wanted to use up my scraps of Kona sage, and I threw in a few small pieces of coordinating prints for good measure.
I finished the hand-quilting in my new apartment, but brought it back up to my parents' place to take photos (it will ultimately be gifted to someone on my mom's side of the family when she goes home to see them). So my mom and I picked a sunny moment to go to the local pond to take photos. But before we went to the pond, we stopped by the local library to grab some books I needed. And of course, it clouded over and became very windy immediately after we stepped back out of the library. So there's my poor, petite mother, being a great sport and battling the elements for the sake of these pics:) (Thanks, mom!)
Dylan then came over and helped me take more pics when the sunlight started coming into my old room...But that shot of me as a quilt mermaid/emerging from a volcano is probably sufficient:)
Can anyone help and tell me what it is ?
On the left an odd evening splendor I bought and on the right the regular version. Note the differences in the print of the fabric. The variation has a flower print the regular version doesn't have. The print is different from both the R and TM version of this outfit.
The fabric is really similar to the regular version but the quality is slightly better (fabric is a bit thicker)
The color is identical to the TM version (more yellow gold than bronze/ orange goold) but the print is different
The tags are different from the regular version, note the C of copyright is missing !!!
The lining, purse and hat are identical
The dress has a YKK zipper that is slightly smaller than the regular version
The coat and dress don't look new at all (completely different rom the Mattel repro outfit), they are sewn the way the regular outfit is : the ensemble really looks like factory made

Men at home “sick”? Oh no, spare me!!
A few days ago Wouter had an operation because of a inguinal rupture (liesbreuk)
and is on sick leave for some times now. When it will take much longer I guess I will go nuts. No one else never ever before had such a terrible operation as he did (in his opinion) and so he calls for attention all day long. Help!!!

Chiltern Railways 168 113 runs through Bordesley station with 1H43 14.54 Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone. The station only sees one train a week, in one direction, so the help point probably doesn't see much use.

Heavily cropped and backlit in Union County, Indiana, on Brownsville Road off SR 44, May 22.
Interacting with Osprey high above the Osprey nest and appeared to be just a little smaller. Face pattern of a falcon. Can't match wing and abdomen pattern with images in my guides.

這次強大地震重創日本，富士電視台前往災區採訪，拍攝到位於仙台市宮城縣荒浜区，兩隻劫後餘生的狗狗，相依為命緊緊靠在一起。
影片中的小白狗倒在地上，起初看來一動也不動，同伴花狗見到有人便上前查看，確定沒有危險又跑回去照顧同伴。虛弱的白狗忽然動了一下，雖然很吃力，但仍努力地撐起身體，靜靜地靠在好友身邊。

I'd like to know if you had to choose between these two options, what would you do? Get those 4 smaller sets (misb), or spend another €160 and get the death star?
I'm not completely sure yet if I'm going to buy either of these, but I'm considering it.
Thousands of people in need in Santa Barbara County will soon receive help meeting their basic needs thanks to the hard work of more than 100 volunteers who assembled 3,000 Personal Care Packs at Direct Relief’s warehouse on January 16 & 17.
The Personal Care Packs contain hygiene items like lotion, soap, facial cleanser, hairbrushes, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other assorted toiletries to help vulnerable people – including homebound seniors, homeless families, and migrant farm workers – access basic items they may otherwise go without.
Twice a year volunteers assemble the packs, which are distributed to 30 social service agencies throughout the county who assist local individuals and low-income families.
Yesterday, somebody broke into my car , and STOLE all my GEAR. My camera, my strobes, lenses, reflectors, all my equipment is now gone. And there were policeman just a block away. And they saw "nothing" in broad daylight.
I NEED YOUR HELP. I'm not asking for free money, but if you have ANY cameras, lenses, strobes, reflectors that you don't use, sell them to me at a price that you think it's fair. Please, think what would you do If you were left without nothing. Without money or the ability to work.

Rep. Pascrell visited a house in Clifton where four adolescent girls are cared for by staff at Children's Aid and Family Services. The program depends on Medicaid funding to provide counseling and medical care, which could be at risk if proposed cuts become a reality.
