I love good image quality. I've been learning that there's certainly a time and a place to throw that all out the window though.
I took my camera for a walk with Heidi and Treble last night. Nope, no tripod. I wanted to see how my camera would perform. This is a panorama of four shots taken at 1/160th, f/1.2 and ISO 6400. If you're friends with me on facebook, you should check out the shot I took of Heidi. That's it for now!

WonderSwan es una videoconsola portátil de 16 bits de la compañía Bandai que fue lanzada en Japón en 1999. Bandai siempre ha estado muy ligada al manga y al anime, y sobre esta consola se han desarrollado adaptaciones de muchas series de animación japonesas.
La WonderSwan ofrecía un reducido tamaño, una capacidad de cartuchos de hasta 128 megabits (16 megabytes) y larga duración con tan solo una pila (de treinta a cuarenta horas). Lo único que se le podía mejorar era su falta de color, cosa que era cuestión de tiempo y se empezó a solucionar sacando la WonderSwan Color, con idénticas prestaciones y total compatibilidad con su versión anterior. Pero la nitidez de la pantalla en color no llegó al nivel de la pantalla en blanco y negro original hasta la llegada de SwanCrystal, la tercera máquina de esta línea de producto, que contaba con una pantalla TFT sin iluminación, similar a la de Game Boy Color.
La pantalla de WonderSwan también desempeña un papel fundamental, de gran tamaño y gran definición.
Como curiosidad a destacar con la WonderSwan se tiene la posibilidad de jugar a sus juegos tanto horizontalmente como verticalmente; esto es ideal para poder jugar a distintos tipos de juegos. Bandai tenía en cuenta que no es lo mismo un shoot 'em up, un videojuego de rol o uno de plataformas, la WonderSwan ponía solución a este problema de una forma sencilla.
Entre todas las versiones de WonderSwan Bandai vendió unos 3,5 millones de unidades.

I am finding Fuji X100T panoramic mode to NOT work well in all auto mode. The variations in exposures are so drastic that I can see banding. I am sure I can find a way to reduce/eliminate it. But, unlike Sony's panoramic feature which is so easy to use, I'm not happy with this feature on the Fuji X100T.
This particular photo is 3 handheld photos stitched in Adobe Lightroom (one way to get around the imperfect build-in panoramic mode).
From the Christmas party we had last year.
Excited to make my first trip home since moving to Japan. Excited to get to celebrate the Winter Holiday with my friends and family. Most of all I'm excited or Christmas Eve Dinner. I like to think ours is the only family that has Linguini in White Clam Sauce and Babalki at the same table. I don't know which I'm more excited for.
Oh and Canoli for dessert.
In the not too distant past, our rabbits and I made a few little critters to drum up a little dough to pay for their pet cat’s mounting medical bills. Probably because we channeled a whole bunch of positive energy into them, they feel pretty good to look at.
Then I realized they feel pretty good to hold, too. Their asymmetrical shape is a bit anatomical—they seem to fall right into the crook of the hand. I soon noticed that my hands, when idle, went straight for one. Familiar like a well-worn blanket or other childhood treasure, they’re quite cuddly. Best of all, they don’t snore.
As usual, these little sweeties contain the standard materials: recycled wool, cotton, and buttons and hypo-allergenic poly-Dacron fiber fill. Healthy for both people and the environment we live in, they’re lovely gifts for anyone who needs a little comfort every now and then.
