I like to draw on my hand. Sometimes I wish I was ambidextrous so I could draw on both hands . . . I think my right hand might get jealous . . .
The first time I had my hands painted with henna in Venice Beach. And yes, I liked it so much that I had it done again. ;)
Another one of my hand carved stamps. Images were stamped using various Marvy Matchables stamp pads and Marvy Brush markers.

Totally forgot to post his new hands. Minifee NS hands, 2014. I can definitely tell that his head is slightly yellowed now because the hands look VERY pink against the body but the head blends in much better. But if you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that resin match doesn’t bother me much. BUT the most important part is that they fit perfectly. The minifee hooks are a bit small but they do fine.

They’re the #7 hands which was exactly what I wanted but I noticed a problem… The magnet inside his right hand is upside down! So the magnets are repelling each other. It’s fine right now because the hand is tight but it might be a problem one day if the hand gets loose. Does anyone know how I can dissolve the glue so I can flip the magnet? Anyone else with these hands have this problem?
I see that the Cronut burger at the CNE may have made people sick. Staphylococcus aureus is a common bacteria that most people carry in their nose and has been identified as the problem in this outbreak. When it gets into your food and grows it produces an entrotoxin that is heat stable. Cooking does not destroy the toxin. Good hygiene and food sanitation are a simple solution to the problem. Watermelon Birthday Cake with Sweet Slices of Cookie Cake. This is a three layer hand carved cake in our butter yellow flavor paired with layers of whipped vanilla buttercream. The cake is then covered in a generous layer of fresh buttercream and wrapped in a silky fondant layer of fresh fondant. The stripes and "skin" of the watermelon are hand painted and the seeds are hand cut and strategically placed. A fondant market tag finishes the cake. The birthday boy also requested cookie cake, so we designed the cookie cake into slices if melon to tie the two designs together. This is a photogram (something else I learned about in my otherwise utterly pointless photography class). It's made by simply placing objects on a piece of photographic paper and exposing the paper to light, then simply developing the paper. This turned a few heads when I showed it in class because no one could guess how I actually made it, the reason being: shadows on photographic paper appear white when developed, so how could I have made my hand black? And then people looked at the 'cracks' on the hand, and were further perplexed.
It was simple, really, I made one photogram of my hand, developed it, cut out my hand, put the outline (notice the edges) and a piece of overhead transparency (with 'cracks' drawn on it) over another sheet of photo paper and exposed and developed again.
