Hand Washing

I see that the Cronut burger at the CNE may have made people sick. Staphylococcus aureus is a common bacteria that most people carry in their nose and has been identified as the problem in this outbreak. When it gets into your food and grows it produces an entrotoxin that is heat stable. Cooking does not destroy the toxin. Good hygiene and food sanitation are a simple solution to the problem.
