Hand-pieced the spool and it is easy and went faster than I expected!

{To Kerry}- the hand-piecing is rather simple and quick. I think I might got the trick... But I need a good mechanical pen to draw the 1/4" seam.

Sausage made by hand at Willowside Meats on Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa, CA.

Ian drew this at the doctors office while Casey was getting his hand examined. Unfortunately, the doctor thinks the break may require a pin be inserted. He has to go back next week for a better x-ray under general anesthesia and, if indicated, he'll have the pins installed. Poor kid.

Spero ti piaccia =)

Ps: La wig l'ho fatta volutamente voluminosa (che gioco XP) sulla fronte =D

In Nepal it is very common seeing men walking hand in hand as an example of friendship.

Home sweet home! Fell asleep by the fireplace tonight…but not before taking a picture of it!

Close Ups of my hand using the Raynox DCR 250 mounted to my 40 - 150.

A series from the herring factory in Djupavik. I was fascinated by the number of places where men once grabbed heavy controls to make the factory do its job.

The sickle has a hardened tool steel blade, brass ferrel and redheart handle. The ball and chain are handmade from sterling silver. It is 4 inches long. The hand claws are made from sterling silver and the pieces are put together with brass rivets. They measure 3 inches and 4 inches respectively. The sai is made from steel and has a black ebony handle. It is 6 inches in length.

Watch your back!!!

I did these in watercolor. The girls and I exercise using a ballet video. I love the French terms and graceful poses.

I really had fun making this one.

Detail from an 1841 marble statue of George Washington by sculptor Horatio Greenough. Originally created for the capitol rotunda as the nation's first monument to Washington, the statue is now located in the National Museum of American History.

I did have a full series of photos taken this evening showing the horror that was my microwave meal for one whilst working lates. It's all too often that I have to rely on such meals when I'm working. To be honest, a lot of them aren't bad and there is certainly a much better choice now than ever before. Tonight's "Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Pie" however looked dreadful. It didn't taste *too* bad, so long as you distracted yourself from the sight on the plate!

Anyway, I decided that I deserved to treat myself. Fortunately, my friend and fellow tech-monkey Ben runs a tuck shop from his desk drawer. Even more fortunately, he'd just re-stocked and had got some Smarties in!

One tube of Smarties later and I felt much better :o)

Two tubes of Smarties later and I felt a bit sick! :oS
