Why worry?
There should be laughter after pain,
There should be sunshine after rain,
These things have always been the same.
So why worry now?

The winter skies can be much clearer for astro-photography. The moon looked so bright last night that I couldn't resist a shot. The hand isn't quite strong enough to set up the tripod yet but hand-held seems to have worked OK on this occasion. More detail when viewed large if you care to. Thanks for looking.
I saw them making their way, exploring the world hand in hand, seeing the world through each other's eyes. Love is the best destination.
Scenic framing of a couple travelers walking hand in hand, crossing the monumental gates of time and history.

Shot with love from Medinet Habu, the temple of Ramses III Luxor.
This set of screwdrivers were a novelty in a Christmas Cracker. But believe it or not I have used them.
For 120 pictures in 2020 #51 "Hands", this is my wife sitting down with a couple of knitting needles. I think this is going to become a scraf, which is needed for those cold winter days when the temperature can plunge into the low 60s (15 - 18 C).
Keeping Busy...
After the morning meeting today, there was nothing really to do in the shop. We have been trying to get the bathroom cleaned up all this week - and today.... the buck stopped with us.
I made a quick trip over to the Station Maintenance Bldg, picked up a pressure washer (gasoline powered) and went to town. Cleaned all the tiles, all the grout, all the stalls, all the urinals, all the sinks, and all the concrete... Looks decent now - to be honest nothing is going to save it now aside from a new coat of paint...
I digress
Feels pretty nice to get a teensy bit-o manual labor in. That coupled with Myrtle having a broken window (which I needed to expediently repair on the account of it was raining...)
Working Hands...
On this one I used the sun peaking through the shade at a medium slow shutter speed 1/40 second to make little squiggly lines in the water ripples from the sun's reflection on the water, this is done in bright afternoon light in the shade, now you know how to do this trick,
it's about imagination and the love of light, break free, feel the light. you can do anything with a camera, get a idea in your head and then figure out how to do it, and bring it to life, might take a few try's, learn what went wrong as you attempt your creation, and end up with the image you wanted, it is not magic, it is you. be yourself, and use the light
and with it comes my heart, my soul, my love, trust, faith, hopes and dreams, past and future. Take my hand and with all I have, all I am is forever yours...
Lost Unicorn has given us the perfect setting for something incredibly personal to Erik and I... something more traditional and meaningful that only we can truly understand.
Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments & faves are greatly appreciated.
