I'm posting this "set" of photos to help people get an idea of what goes into the jewelry and sculptures I make, and to give people a little peek into my studio, or in this case, a close-up view of my jewelry workbench, and my trusty half-round file! This was actually taken on an UNcluttered bench day!
I work in many different mediums, but plastic is one of my favorites. It is a time consuming material to work with, but I love the results.

Puts me in mind of Pan's Labyrinth... except that I do actually have eyes on my head. I can imagine it would be a bit inconvenient otherwise.
So, there I was keeping an eye on the kids painting, and before you know it, they have painted both of their hands and loving it!
You have to laugh!

Scenes from a COSI salsa-making teambuilding workshop, held on Thursday, October 25, 2012.
Employees from Nationwide Insurance's Affinity Marketing group used their science inquiry and teamwork skills together to produce the best-tasting fresh salsas, which were then judged by representatives of the Gahanna Herb Education Center.

It caught my eye, which really is its purpose. I find myself peering into the recesses of shop windows at night because the light can be so interesting. This was in the lower left hand corner of a larger, three-window display... Someone took the time to put it together, but you wonder how many people see this in particular. I guess I did, so others must. I be I'm one of the only people who took a photograph of it, though :)

Had quite the money freak-out, which is now calmer, though really still underlying. *breathe* *focus* *breathe*
I am using this picture as my interpretation of PTSD. I am ex military and at present writing a book to help other sufferers.
I did these in watercolor. The girls and I exercise using a ballet video. I love the French terms and graceful poses.

I did have a full series of photos taken this evening showing the horror that was my microwave meal for one whilst working lates. It's all too often that I have to rely on such meals when I'm working. To be honest, a lot of them aren't bad and there is certainly a much better choice now than ever before. Tonight's "Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Pie" however looked dreadful. It didn't taste *too* bad, so long as you distracted yourself from the sight on the plate!
Anyway, I decided that I deserved to treat myself. Fortunately, my friend and fellow tech-monkey Ben runs a tuck shop from his desk drawer. Even more fortunately, he'd just re-stocked and had got some Smarties in!
One tube of Smarties later and I felt much better :o)
