I got a new haircut and was trying my not foolproof method of taking a self portrait with the 50mm. I would focus on my hand and then point the camera back at myself. It wasn't working because it was about 6:30 in the evening and the light was different by the second. I did like this shot of my hand and the bokeh though.

For this assignment you are to capture an image of a body part. Whether an ear, an eye, elbow or toe, be creative with your composition and lighting. You can be your own model or you can find someone else. Remember, this is family oriented group, so let's keep it clean.
WIT:
I had this idea in my head a long time ago so this was the perfect time to try this.
I used my son and husband as models.
"Daddy, take my hand in yours and you'll see,
How much I need you now to love and care for me.
As my little hand grows, I will need you even more,
Everything I do in life, I have never done before.
Teach me to be kind and loving, sharing and forgiving,
Show me through your acts of love, the pure joy of living.
The years will pass by quickly and one day I will be grown,
I will pass what you taught me onto children of my own.
Hold me always in your thought and remember when we're apart,
The special love between a child and a daddy's heart."
Ted has a few hours to kill on Cloud City while Lord Vader attends a family reunion. As he explores the lower levels he is suddenly hit on the head by some guy's hand! Shortly after that someone (probably the owner of the hand) goes flashing past as he falls down a shaft. Ted gets the feeling the reunion didn't go as planned.
