Shot this laying down in my back yard, because my tripod is burried in the trunk of my car, and I didn't feel like diggin' it out. I cropped, and enlarged it in PS7, and that's it !
Took this shot of the red half moon as it was still over the city before disappearing. The pin points of light were from some of the buildings in Metrotown, Burnaby, BC. I took this shot from my balcony, but with no tripod.

The Camas Prairie Railroad line in north central Idaho was often referred to as the railroad on stilts due to the many trestles, like this one, on the line! In the approximately twelve miles between Culdesac, Idaho and the top of the grade at the edge of the Camas Prairie, the railroad climbs close to 2,000 feet. This famed stretch includes seven tunnels (now 6 as one was 'daylighted') and eighteen trestles! The most famous of these trestles is the Half Moon Trestle, this is a graceful 684 feet arc, 141 feet above the ground! This was built using one million board feet of timber! While this retired railroad may not be known to most people outside the area, the engineering on this line is famous throughout the industry. If you saw the 1975 western Breakheart Pass with Charles Bronson, you would have seen these trestles in the movie! They are a great part of the history in this region.

Probably one of the most striking sunsets I've ever witnessed, Half Moon Bay, Black Rock, Melbourne. Hard to believe this is in metro Melbourne.
