30 October, my birthday, spent driving north along the Pacific Coast from Half-Moon Bay to the City. More to follow ....
Half Moon is a trip. This grand, verdant oasis on Montego Bay is the sort of place James Bond would vacation (he did), a place where you may find regal English horses swimming in the sea (you will) and private pockets of respite around every corner (there are). Half Moon encompasses everything you imagined a Jamaican vacation to be – yah, mon.

This is a small winery located in the southeast end of "the County" at Half Moon Bay. The vineyard faces north on ridge of limestone with loam making up an 8 in cover. This was the shore of ancient Lake Iroquois. They make great Pinot Noir along with Riesling and Pinot Grigio

Canadian band Half Moon Run delighted fans on the Backwoods Stage on the second day of the Wakarusa Music Festival at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark.
Half Moon Bay is about 30 miles south of San Francisco. It gets it name from the crescent shape of the shoreline.

I have been an artist my whole life. I don’t think there has ever been a time I was not brainstorming a new art concept. Art is a form of non-verbal self-expression. It is cathartic by helping me release difficult emotions and instill healing. When I am working on a project, I am not thinking about all the stresses in in my family life or any work-related concerns. I think the act of doing creative artistic things helps to keep parts of my brain active and to be able to use creativity in all aspects of my life. Importantly, it helps prevent job burnout so I can continue to support my teams with their direct patient care.
Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas is Holland America's private beach. It is absolutely perfect with white sand and clear blue water. These little fish were with the stingrays. One of them came out of the water to steal the squid out of my hand before I could feed it to the stingray!
