Such a friendly farm cat, seen at one of the farms we called in at when we were doing the annual Audubon Cochrane Wildlife Reserve Christmas Bird Count on 28 December 2012.
What a gorgeous day at The Texas Renaissance Festival! Nice weather, massive crowd (41,000+), photo ops everywhere. This was the All Hallows Eve themed weekend so there were a lot of cool costumes to shoot. Thanks to all the people that posed for me - what a blast!
I took these photos in October 2014 near Plantersville, TX.

As we traveled in our bus, the kids would stop what they were doing to wave at us. Actually, anyone who we waved to, would do the same. India is full of friendly people!

On a recent trip to Finland I found myself in the centre of Helsinki with underthesun. I then encountered the most bizarre parade I have ever seen. This was the day that every graduating high school student in the region hires, begs, borrows or steals a dump truck to stand in with all their mates and drive round the streets in a really long procession, throwing sweets to the onlooking strangers. This one fell close to me then stayed in my pocket for a few days, until I went for a walk in the snow with sohvimus. This one, so I'm told, is Polish (they're cheaper!) She very graciously modelled this sweet for me so I could then open and eat it. Whilst the last remnants were still being munched sohvimus had a horrible slip and broke her elbow. She's in a cast and making a recovery now. Every picture tells a story. :)
