This old vase/planter has been laying out in the yard for about 5 yrs now....it had a pecan tree in it that was brought from the old house, but by the time I got around to transplanting it, the roots had grown so much that I couldn't get it out of the vase without breaking it!!
The tree is now dead, and I'm waiting for it to decompose enough to free the vase!!!!

i) E’ stato utilizzato il Faretto Manfrotto ML240 regolato ad 1/3 della potenza (luce 1900°Kelvin) posizionato sopra la scena (leggermente a sinistra) ed all’altezza delle ali della farfalla in modo da correggere le lievi ombre azzurre e abbassare la temperatura cromatica della scena per vivacizzare i colori rosso/arancio dei fiori e delle striature giallo ocra delle ali delle farfalle. Tutto il lavoro è stato effettuato verso le ore 9,30 del mattino (luce laterale proveniente da destra diretta del sole);
l) Impostazione Asa 100/Asa;
m) Conversione del File Raw in Tiff con Nikon Capture NX 2;
n) Prima Post-Produzione Corel Photo-Paint X5 e Nikon Capture NX 2;

Coral House MOC is a contemporary home with influences from both modernism and industrial style. It is located in tropical surroundings and has a colour scheme inspired by the snake that gave house its name.
The main house body is mainly built with reddish brown grille bricks, trans-clear panels and plated walls in tan, reddish brown, dark red and black. One of the plated walls "fold over" the house to form a roof. One vertical and two horizontal and white cuboids are built with SNOT technique and attached to the main house body to achieve contrast. ***

I was struggling to find something colourful and interesting to illustrate this challenge, then remembered this amazing project my sister managed. It worked with a local social enterprise to turn old PPE (personal protective equipment) workwear into a whole range of things - other clothes, reflective armbands for cyclists/children, and these amazing bags.
Made from the trouser legs of refuse collectors workwear (fully cleaned of course!) - the reflective strips are excellent to make you show up when it is over your shoulder!

Travesía 213 – Graus – Grustán – Castillo Templarios – Graus

Al final de la población de Graus, tomaremos una pista GR 1 “Sendero histórico” en dirección Grustán. Transcurridos unos 20 minutos nos desviaremos a la derecha por una senda local denominada Miradores de Graus y en una hora y media aproximadamente llegaremos a Grustán (890 m. Alt).
Este pueblo está ubicado en la Sierra Torón y fue abandonado en la década de los sesenta, llegó a tener 17 casas, ahora en ruinas salvo la iglesia de Santa María con su reloj de sol. Desde aquí tendremos unas buenas vistas del valle del Ésera y del Isábena, así como de la Puebla de Fantova.
Después de la visita atravesaremos el pueblo para cruzar la pista GR 1 y bajar para coger la senda de Miradores de Graus, dicha senda transcurre paralela al barranco de Grustán y nos llevará a la Ermita de San Miguel o Templarios.
Los Templarios fue construida a finales del siglo XI y principios del XII, en su entorno podremos ver un sarcófago antropomorfo y su tapa, asi como restos de alguna tumba. Dicha ermita al igual que otros lugares y bienes fueron donados por el rey Ramiro El Monje a cambio de que las órdenes militares renunciasen a los derechos testamentarios.
Dejando atrás la ermita continuaremos por un bosque denominado La Ubaga y una senda “Rutas Ornitológicas OR9”, con paneles informativos de las distintas especies de aves.
Terminado el bosque, la senda se convierte en camino PR 211 que transcurre por campos, con buenos vistas de Graus y a la derecha la Ermita de San Pedro.
Pasaremos por la Partida de las Planas y Piedra Plana, lugar donde se paraban a merendar y bailar después de bajar de la romería de San Pedro que se celebraba cada 21 de abril. Esta tradición la recuperó la cofradía de San Pedro de Verona de Graus en el año 2011 que la pasó al 1 de mayo.
Desde aquí y en poco más de 20 minutos llegaremos a Graus, enfrente como referencia la Peña del Morral y el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Peña.
Os animo a hacerla. Es bastante suave y muy bonita.

i am still swimming in the sea even though the temperature is dipping below 5°c (41°f). because its dark i don't tend to take my water proof camera to swimming with me. also because its so cold there is not enough time to bang off a roll before you have to get out. but imagine this: 2 days ago what you see in the photo was covered in ice from because of a leaking pipe on the pier. quite surreal swimming round it i can tell you, really wish i had a camera with me.

Une forme de speed dating encore plus rapide et plus aléatoire, un vaste jeu de billes ou de billard, avec des boules de tailles différentes dont les polarités changeantes créeraient des attractions et des répulsions non prévisibles. Chaque individu serait composé de quatre sphères flottantes agencées deux par deux. Les femelles seraient globes mammaires et paire de fesses, les mâles, les globes oculaires et paire de couilles. Un univers simplifié, débarrassé du chichi et du superflu. Tout en pulsions et impulsions nues. Sans cerveaux. Immédiatement lisible.

Part one of a two part series on a local mall that is on its last legs. The series starts off in the various parking lots around the mall. I was really drawn to the play of light. All the lots were pretty much empty so I could take my time and not worry about getting run over.
