I think of the brown tint images here as fighting forms. More detailed descrption to come. Below is a basic meaning of the title series.
Tenkō (転向, literally, changing direction) is a Japanese term referring to the coerced ideological conversions of Japanese socialists and communists who, between 1925 and 1945, were induced to renounce leftist ideologies and enthusiastically embrace the Emperor-centric, capitalist, and imperialist ideology favored by the state. Tenkō was typically performed under duress, most often in police custody, and was a condition for release (although surveillance and harassment would often continue thereafter). But it was also a broader phenomenon, a kind of cultural reorientation in the face of national crisis, that did not always involve direct repression

They're all around us, textures, those lines and patterns, seemingly purposeful, sometimes random.
Look closely in nature and you'll find them everywhere, they draw you in, sometimes they are impossibly perpendicular. Here is an example of textures that at a cursory glance make no sense, how could this monolith possibly form naturally with lines that are virtually opposite those a mere few feet below them. Bry will give you the precise explanation, it'll blow your mind, time scales and natural evolution of the landscape which one can barely comprehend. Nature is awesome.

Listed as UNESCO in 2010, the Zhangye Danxia Landform area is known as “the eye candy of Zhangye”. Many artists admire this masterpiece as it is unbelievably colorful, like a n imaginative oil painting . Zhangye's Danxia landscape has lots of precipitous red cliffs, most of which are several hundred meters high, and multicolored ridges of weathered strata, sometimes stretching to the horizon. These formations, sometimes smooth sometimes sharp, stand out against the greens or grays of the plains , looking grand and magnificent, vigorous and virile.
Across the Danxia landscape zone, a kaleidoscope of numerous red rocky outcrops resemble weird and wonderful shapes like castles, cones, towers ; as well as humans, creatures, birds and beasts. Their peaks peeping through the mist and clouds, produce mirage-like scenery of fantastic mountains and pavilions.
Zhangye 's Danxia was formed by the erosion of red sandstone, forming isolated peaks and steep stratified outcrops. Its special geological structure, combined with long-term desert conditions , freeze-thaw peeling, and wind and water erosion gave rise to its present appearance.
Geologists believe that Danxia topography is formed by folding of layered oceanic crust. Exposed slanting rock layers have different colors, textures, shapes, sizes, and patterns. The combination of differences in density and erosion create towering peaks, cave holes, and stone halls. (Sourced from Internet)
甘肅張掖國家地質公園位於中國甘肅省張掖市, 規劃面積322平方公里。 2012年4月, “甘肅張掖丹霞地質公園” 國家地質公園（建設）資格被國土資源部批准。 2016年6月, 經實地驗收, 國土資源部同意命名該處為 “甘肅張掖國家地質公園”。這裡曾因其色彩斑斕的岩石地貌而被中國多家媒體選為中國最美地貌之一, 於2008年1月被甘肅省人民政府批准為省級“肅南－臨澤丹霞地貌風景名勝區”。
該公園位於祁連山北麓, 臨澤縣和肅南縣境內。兩縣均在甘肅省地級市張掖統轄範圍內。丹霞地貌主要分佈在康樂鄉和白銀鄉地段。臨澤丹霞景區是公園的核心區域, 距張掖市區以西30公里, 臨澤縣城以南20公里。這是整個公園發展最為完善, 遊客人數最多的一個景區。 第二大景區冰溝位於梨園河北岸, 於2014年8月3日正式揭牌。 冰溝佔地總面積為300平方公里, 海拔1500-2500米。 第三大景區肅南丹霞景區位於甘肅省臨澤縣。
張掖丹霞因其與眾不同的岩石色彩而舉世聞名。這些岩石光滑而險峻, 高數百米, 是紅礫石, 砂岩和其他礦物經過2400萬年的沉澱堆積而成。這種夾層蛋糕 般的效果與構成喜馬拉雅山脈的地殼板塊運動有關。經年累月的風吹雨淋，最終被雕琢成了如今這番奇特景象, 或形似塔, 或貌似柱, 或溝壑縱橫, 色彩斑斕, 形態各異。

El castillo de los condes de Andrade, señores feudales de la comarca, es un hito medieval que constituye todo un símbolo de la memoria histórica de Pontedeume. Don Fernán Pérez de Andrade, O Bó, inicia el linaje en 1371 de manos de Enrique de Trastámara, cuando recibe los señoríos de Pontedeume y Ferrol. Nuño Freire de Andrade pasa a la historia por la dureza con que gobernó sus territorios. Durante su mandato se suceden las revueltas campesinas. Muchos otros son los avatares históricos del señorío; por ejemplo, en el siglo XVI, por falta de descendencia masculina, los títulos y derechos pasan, por razones matrimoniales, a la casa de Lemos. No obstante, el señorío es ejercido hasta finales del siglo XIX. Hoy en día pertenece a la casa de Alba. En la simbología de los Andrade aparecen el oso y el jabalí, de clara inspiración celta. Por sus reducidas dimensiones, el castillo apenas cumplió su original función residencial. La parte mejor conservada del mismo es la torre del homenaje. El recinto amurallado tiene forma irregular; en él se abre una sola entrada al castillo con doble cierre. Un foso rodea la construcción por dos de sus lados. Una leyenda, exagerada, dice que había un paso subterráneo que comunicaba este castillo con el que hay en la villa de Pontedeume

Abbaukammer in der ehemaligen Schiefergrube Christine in Willingen in Nordhessen
Im Sauerland und im Rothaargebirge geht die Gewinnung von Schiefer bis ins ausgehende Mittelalter zurück. Verwendet wurde der Schiefer als Bedachungsmaterial und zur Wandverkleidung. Bis ins frühe 19. Jahrhundert hinein waren die Absatzgebiete eher regional geprägt, entsprechend bescheiden blieb der Umfang der Förderung.
Im Zuge der Industrialisierung nahm die Förderung einen starken Aufschwung, der v. a. auf geänderte Bauvorschriften zur Brandverhütung zurückging. Der Schieferbergbau entwickelte sich zu einer regional bedeutenden Industrie.
Dabei gestaltete sich das sogenannte Fredeburger Revier zwischen Schmallenberg und Willingen zu einem wichtigen Abbaugebiet, in dem im 19. Jahrhundert mehrere Schieferlager entdeckt und durch verschiedene Gruben bergmännisch erschlossen wurden. Das Verbundbergwerk Magog-Gomer-Bierkeller ist bis heute in Betrieb (magog.de/).
In Willingen befand sich am Osthang des über 700 Meter hohen Ibergs ein aus vier bis zu 20 Meter mächtigen Schieferbänken bestehendes Lager, das ab 1871 von der Grube "Christine" bebaut wurde. Dabei wurden im Laufe der Zeit drei Abbauebenenen erschlossen. Die Förderung dauerte bis 1971 an, dann erfolgte die Schließung der Grube. Während die unteren Abbauebenen geflutet und nur für Taucher zugänglich sind, befindet sich auf der obersten Abbauebene ein Besucherbergwerk.

Antelope Canyon was formed by erosion of Navajo Sandstone,[2] primarily due to flash flooding and secondarily due to other sub-aerial processes. Rainwater, especially during monsoon season, runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways eroded away, making the corridors deeper and smoothing hard edges in such a way as to form characteristic "flowing" shapes in the rock.[3]

A mystery arrival in the garden this year, and in two different locations and colour forms. No idea how they managed to get there either. Ordinarily, birds might be considered the normal culprit but, according to what I've read, birds don't particularly care for them. The name stems from the rather unpleasant aroma when the leaves are bruised or crushed.
