Part one of a two part series on a local mall that is on its last legs. The series starts off in the various parking lots around the mall. I was really drawn to the play of light. All the lots were pretty much empty so I could take my time and not worry about getting run over.
PHOTO ESSAY: BEFORE THE FALL
i am still swimming in the sea even though the temperature is dipping below 5°c (41°f). because its dark i don't tend to take my water proof camera to swimming with me. also because its so cold there is not enough time to bang off a roll before you have to get out. but imagine this: 2 days ago what you see in the photo was covered in ice from because of a leaking pipe on the pier. quite surreal swimming round it i can tell you, really wish i had a camera with me.
This pond is shrinking, as it does every autumn. The cold is settling in and overnight, ice is beginning to form along the water's edges. So far, it disappears in the 'heat' of the day...

no te pares no te mates
no te pares, no te mates

I have been spending today mostly thinking, I have experienced my first heartbreak. It wasn't massive in perspective, but it was to me. I won't go depressive into it, but it with someone that had made me feel so alive and new and for that I am so grateful. A night of learning and living. But it's because of it not continuing for a reason I may never know that I have to learn to re-attach the cogs working inside me and see the beauty in what I have experienced. I have found new pieces lately that I felt could never fit in my system and for that, I feel like another chapter in my story has been written to reflect on.
This was the hotel I stayed in in Istanbul earlier this year. I'm just practicing a technique for a forthcoming trip to New York.
I would appreciate really constructive critisism on it
Fiery skippers can't survive Iowa winters in any form, and so they re-colonize this cold country every spring from the populations in the southern U.S. Summertime sees their caterpillars feeding on crabgrass here so they can become quite common by September. This one will fly about until we get a hard freeze.
Formed in 1912, Pinellas County quickly outgrew its original courthouse and in 1916 the Board of County Commissioners voted in favor of a $160,000 bond issue to finance the construction of a new courthouse and jail. Well-known architect Francis J. Kennard was chosen for the design, and the land was purchased for $5,000 on January 19, 1917. Contracts totaling $119,823 were awarded to Bates, Hudnall, & Jetton and G.A. Miller & Company for the construction of the courthouse and jail, respectively. The building was completed on time and within budget in 1918. The first floor contained the county's business records and commissioners' offices. The second floor housed one large courtroom, judges' offices, and jury and grand jury rooms. The courthouse is an excellent example of Neo-Classical Revival architecture, similar to other early 20th century public buildings in Florida. The Old Pinellas County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its significance as the first permanent building in Pinellas County erected as the seat of county government. It was designated a local historic landmark by the City of Clearwater in partnership with the Pinellas County Historic Preservation Board in 2015.

Tryfan mountain forms part of the Glyderau group, and is one of the most famous and recognisable peaks in Britain, having a classic pointed shape with rugged crags. At 917.5 m above sea level it is the fifteenth highest mountain in Wales.
