A couple of cute little boxes that are still filled with candy before I am taking them to a Christmas party with former colleagues.
I love this small Flower-Box by Clemente Giusto a lot. They are beautiful and quick and easy folded :).
So, now I have to hurry :))!!
Flashback to the uncanny Texas Snowpocalypse 2021. A favorite flower photo after two nights of freezing rain and highs in the 20s (F).

An organic cafe with colourful window boxes in Neal's Yard, London. Hard to imagine this is right in the centre of a busy modern city.
It appears that Flickr's new map can't get the location right, I did drop it on the correct location at 100% zoom in too.

Every once in awhile the female falcon gets tired of breeding and so she calls for her husband. When he arrives he sits on the eggs (5 of them in the meantime) while she goes for a flight. Captured both of them when she returned. So he is the one with the grey head feathers (out of focus unfortunately). Hope to get some more good shots of them.
:D
I took this image of the flower fly on my balcony.
For the lightning I used a self-made flash diffusor on top of my camera and the 100mm macro lens with a 68mm extension tube.

Thought this was a neat way to re-use an old, rusty vehicle. Seen at the Saskatoon Farm (about 20 minutes' drive S of Calgary) on 28 September 2013, when I spent a few hours there with my youngest daughter. Seems strange looking at this photo, knowing that it's snowing heavily tonight.
Okay so I was watering my flower box and I realized that the drops in this opening marigold look exactly like the little water-droplet-blade-of-grass telescopes the ants make in Bugs Life. Think about ittt.
(Big if you'd like for ease of viewing, as recommended.)
